A fair warning- it's really hard to get photos of these to come out well...since the contrast is so strong and my camera is so cheap, but here we go: Last year I had a friend cast me some black and woodgrain grips for my 93R. Here's the woodgrain, quite a nice effect. Much nicer than the purplish garbage that comes on the Omega guns. Well he wanted to test some new resin so he cast me a set of white grips and sent them my way. Oh yes, the 93R was modified by removing the foregrip mount and shortening the barrel.

Remember that I custom-made my HBAR setup to suit my parts and needs. I didn't want to use a PSG-1 barrel, as I wanted to keep the total length less than my AK-74. I trimmed down the gas tube to make room for the right bipod leg so I wouldn't have to space it further forward. The 550mm barrel ends about 20mm before the barrel threads. I hadn't really intended to use the M60 flash hider, but I couldn't find an HBAR piece - and it does look 'right' with the bipod Certainly lends it a mean appearance. Must've missed your posts asking about that until now. I bought mine from Evike.com. The 'police carbine' setup will fit a 455mm barrel, I'm ordering a Madbull for mine. I currently have the 363mm in there from the SMG barrel, so the carbine extension and flash hider is acting as a 6 inch muzzle. Might as well use that space to get some greater accuracy I may have to downgrade the power a bit, mine is borderline at my field's legal limit. If anyone's interested, the 550mm barrel in my HBAR setup gives about a 35fps gain over the 363mm barrel with 0.20g's.

Boredom...again... Updated my Ruger. Sanded and polished the trigger, and added silver leaf to the bolt. I just put in a tightbore barrel (they do exist for this gun!) and a metal hopup unit will be arriving soon. I also polished the base of one mag, not certain if I like the silver mag look better or not. -Edit- Fixed links. Silly mistake.

I'm not familiar with any trigger locking issue. I've never had any kind of failure with my AUG's trigger. Could you be a bit more specific?

Not a clue, mine's got TM guts. I haven't heard that complaint before though.

I was never quite happy with the look of the AUG with the stock flash hider and SMG barrel... so here's my new version. Like the AUG A1 Police model with the black body, built in scope and carbine barrel. New vs old flash hider: AUG iron sights: View through CA AUG scope, Jo was a handy target.

^ Quoted for truth. No need to shorten the Uzi mag...that's a 30-round length (220 hicap). Most of the conversions are shown with the low-cap 20-round (40 rd lowcap) length mag. As for a 40-round mag for the HBAR...more work than it's worth to me. I'd think Boom Arms would have made one to go with their kit by now.
