  1. It's just the long top peice that connects the front sight all the way to the rear sight - making it one long RIS rail. On an M4, it would connect the top reciever with an RIS forgrip, kind of filling in the gap over the ring. Very cool accessory and great looking, but pricey. Here it is on WGC shop: Rail Sleeve for MP5 pictured by itself.
  2. Wow, that rail sleeve and RIS look awesome!!!!!
  3. 363mm inner barrels will do nicely in a G36K - that is what I have in both of mine - stops just short of the flash hider.
  4. Here is my family (and I want to be on page 200!) A CA36, CA36K and a CA36C - I love me some CA and some G36...
  5. I finally got a better camera!!! (I'm borrowing it )

  7. We will be there! I'll head over to that site and register this weekend. Man, thanks so much Trigger, I appreciate it.
  8. OH! the pocoloco group?!?! Yes! I'm really hoping to get involved there this summer. I have a buddy who is also really into airsoft now, and the two of us were hoping to hook up with a team and start skirmishing there at pocoloco fairly regularly. Thanks for the link - that will help greatly
  9. Please forgive my noobtardedness, but what is C3? Is that an event? All 3 are skirmishable, though still stock. 2 do have tightbore barrels, but that's the extent of my internal upgrades (so far) as the result of changing barrel lengths and needing new inner barrels - they all work so beautifully and shoot so hard, that I haven't felt the need to tinker too much just yet. And, the battery sling solves the issue of battery size for me accross all 3.
  10. I do, I really do (love me some CA36s... yes, they are all mine) Can't wait for that SL8!!! Or CAl-8 or whatever they'll call it!!! I'll be first in line for one...
  11. Like the last post, I have some big and smalls to share (also in the G36 thread): The Holy Trifecta: - CA36 with bipod handguard, rail mod, scope and blackhawk cheek pad. - CA36K with my rail mod and aimpoint - CA36C with G&P RAS and nitro.vo folding grip and flat top kit. I power this one using a Satellite Battery sling (a great solution that I highly recommend - available at WGCshop.com) I really need a better camera...

  13. That's a home made mod to my carry handle. I've gotten a lot of PMs and emails about it, so here's how I did it: Well, what I did was, I measured out where to place the two holes for the two screws, then drilled holes using a drill bit that was the exact same girth as the screw thread. Then, when I screwed the rail on, it was so tight, that even though it wasn't properly threaded, it was still secure enough that I could have left it at that. The CA36 carry handle is recessed down the middle, so the screws don't screw in as far as I'd like, even though it was very secure and tight. So
  14. You make me feel inadequate...
  15. whoa, I thought I looked there. And, its about half the price of the one on WGC... Too bad I'm selling this, or I might have to invest... Great call Fullauto - have a +1 on me.
  16. Here's my TM M92f military: It's for sale, as you can see in my sig. I really like the G&P bottom rail adaptor - though I wish I could have gotten a CA M9 laser attachment that gives that cool one-piece look to the front of the pistol and trigger guard as seen here: Sold out just about everywhere...
  17. This one's for you LedPocket!!!
  18. I use the nylon and velcro attachments that came with UTG 3point: Much cheaper then buying a sling swivel - most places want between 30-40 bucks for a good one. But, that is the other option - buying a sling bolt for the front of the handguard, and then a sling swivel that attaches to the hole near the button where you push to fold the stock. Or you could also buy a Quick Detach sling swivel and attach it to one of the side rails on the handguard. I personally like the velcro straps... but that's just me...
  19. Here are a couple more of my G36s:
  20. I checked out your site and pictures - very cool - I think I see how he did it, and I might try some experiments of my own... Very inspiring - should be in the "unholy fusions" thread too
  21. Ok, I know I'm super late to the game here, but the very first pic in this thread has an M4 with a G36c carry handle/rail on it????? How was that accomplished?
  22. I have no money!!!! Stop posting MP7 pics!!!! I have no money!!!! AAAAAaaaagggghhhhrrrrrggghhh..... I will have one soon. Oh yes... I will have one. Also, I think they look fantastic with Aimpoints. Thanks for posting a nice variety - helps me decide which one to pick up with it.
  23. Ok, here are some pics of some of my G36 mods. First off, I know I'm not using the correct B/R/L designations in all the right places - just using what I had on hand, and all incorrect letters will be filled by black paint and toothpick a little later on. Also, I know my PeQ2 battery box is a cheapo LPEG type, but it's just a place holder until my real one is ordered soon. First up, the rail explanation: Here's a close-up I just drilled two holes for the screws using a bit roughly equal to the screw's thread. This actually holds the rail on very securely, without needing anyt
  24. It's glued. And be careful when asking questions like that on these boards - since you're in the U.S. you need to clearly state that your'e not doing it to get around the orange tip laws. But, try a hair dryer to get the glue soft, or nail polish remover...
