  1. That is exactly what I use as well USCM. It is nearly perfectly, only off by maybe 1 shade and you can only tell in the right lighting conditions.
  2. That's awesome Drake. Did you have the receiver laser engraved with the KAC logo? I didn't think the G&P one came with that on there.
  3. I have that exact same barrel. I checked it against a Daniel Defense 9" Lite rail I wanted to use and it left at least an inch of room to the gas block spacing on the barrel. Pics attached. Needs a 10" rail IMO, possibly 10 1/2 considering I just used a ###### receiver to mock it up and didn't actually tighten the rail down. BTW From the end of the gas block area (where the smooth part necks down and starts to dimple again) to the very tip of the threads is exactly 4"
  4. It's actually made by Nitro. Vo. You can find it here at Redwolf Airsoft.
  5. That's so very wrong to taint that rifle with Dboys internals...It's like having a chance to sleep with Carmen Electra, I mean yeah she is hot, but think about what's been inside her. Same concept here.
  6. This is straight from Knight's Armament's website. See the difference in the rounds. Shorter and Smaller, but more powerful. This is why it wouldn't work in the gun, round is a completely different size.
  7. I'm a realism guy, so for me it just looks wrong.
  8. That EMAG actually makes the weapon incorrect. The real KAC PDW uses 6x35mm ammunition. The EMAG is for 5.56/.223. If you are going for accuracy this would be incorrect.
  9. Because in a combat environment under stress your fine motor skills go out the window and you need to rely on gross motor skills. For an AR you need only slap the side of the receiver with a palm to trip the release. In the case of being left handed you simply need to "knife hand" down the side of the receiver to trip the bad lever. Or if you are holding the Mag well you can trip it with a quick gross movement downwards of your right thumb.
  10. The handguard and buttstock are easily interchangable with a real wood furniture kit aren't they?
  11. Could you swap the plastic wood parts for a real wood kit? And also could you swap out the plastic trigger guard for a metal one? That would probably up the durability quite a bit. I am looking at getting an M79 this year, but with all the shady reviews I might just suck it up and by the metal CAW version.
  12. Great guy to do bizz with, made the deal go hassle free, would work with again.need more guys like this.THANKS.

  13. Anyone have any further info on magazines? Is it confirmed that ONLY AC and Star Mags work? Anyone know where I can get Low-caps for not an outrageous price? Also does anyone know of anywhere in the states that sells the rifle? I have only found Wolf Armouuries, Zero One selling it right now. Seems to be like limited edition or something. If anyone has any info would be grealty appreciated. Also what batteries are you guys using? I really don't want a PEQ, but I guess if I have to I have to. And what is everyone doing for sling mounting options??
