LOL, thanks I've owned the 1.0 and 1.5 now. The 1.0 I sold, but then realised I loved it too much and so went all out on the 1.5! (BTW Mobius, Boomarms still have the Prime kit in stock, if you fancy splurging!) On the subject of Chow's, has anybody seen/own the silver or 2-tone version (Kim Chow and Gin Chow, I think?)? They are listed on WA's site, but I've never seen one...

My AKM. Started life as a bog standard CYMA AK47, now has the following: Element 74 Metal Body Element 74 Metal Top Cover Element AKM Flash Hider Guarder Real Wood Stock ACM Real Wood Pistol Grip (May strip and re-varnish it?) Genuine Soviet AKM Real Wood Handguards (Took about alot of work to fit and finish, as they arrived painted black!!!) Marui Bolt painted black Guarder AKM mag conversion (Marui hicap internals) The rest is CYMA. I plan to weather the metal a bit more when I have time. My Boomarms Bob Chow Custom.... Full metal, and even the correctly marked 'CHOW' steel chamber! I wasn't sure about using the 1.5 as the base gun at first, but now its arrived, I freakin love it. The 'Royal Blue' finish on the trigger/slide catch/hammer etc. looks great contrasted with the matt black of the metal frame and slide I think. The only downside: that stupid mag bumper! Its metal (not plastic as I first thought), and prevents gassing up without an extension piece. You cant even remove it to gas up, as it that requires taking out the bottom of the reservior. Damn you, WA.

HBC, Boomarms seem to be having probs with there ordering system at the mo. Try using the 'contact us' button and using the 'order' email address, they responded to me within a couple of hours doing that. On another note, I've just received my new Boomarms Bob Chow Special , pictures up tomorrow.....
