  1. I don't know if this was allready mentioned, but my auction ended. Thanks for notifying me, but one email would have done it, not 162 Why so many? 162....
  2. I thought i'd post up some pictures of my armalites, finally. I fought against getting armalites for a while but now i see the appeal. Theres a few thousand accesories, the version 2 also has a million different parts and they're just so "airsoft." I can't think of a more usable weapon than an extendable stock m4, with a bit of RIS at the front and a battery stock at the rear. The perfect skirmish tool as it were - i just need to buy one, even if they are truck ugly The top one is an ICS M16A3 and the lower is a CA M15A2 carbine. Frakengun: My m15a2 carbine ha
  3. I'd like for us to be able to sell new products there, ie for small profit.... Any chance?
  4. Harsh. It's just... je ne sais quoi. I prefer the ease of being able to wonder onto the forums, post a sales thread and come back later to a few PMs. I love the auction function, but i don't feel that it's needed for the usual classified function. The classified forums on the whole tend to be a bit "self moderating" and people soon learn. If it's a case of adding a few more sales topic mods then i'm sure that would solve it. I mean most of the regs do LIVE on here I hate to criticise though, sorry mate.
  5. I hate to say it, but it's not really that usable for me. I prefer the usual system to be honest - which i really am sorry to say because this looks like it took a hell of a long time to create. It may be hard to moderate but hell theres enough of us there allready pointing out other forum fps, state a price etc allready.
  6. Well to my mind it's an M16 shorty, M16A2 carbine or if i bother with an XM177E2 flash hider, its and Xm177e2.... If it had a RIS rail to the top it could have been a "diemaco"
  7. Go for it I only have the 2 armalites, but it's the start of a collection if that counts...
  8. So how would this become an XM177e2 or an M16 shorty etc? New flash hider and have done?
  9. I'd be interested to see pictures of themed collections ie groups of armalites, .45s, ww2 guns, vietnam guns, brit guns, german guns etc.... One gun of the type isn't enough, really looking to see what different people are into, collecting wise. cheers LJ
  10. Exactly doc. No poncy RIS rail and pictorial evidence of them being used by the SAS in the first gulf. Makes all the difference...
  11. The fact that he's now paying £45 a mag? Left to right: 2 x cyma speedloaders (about £2 each and great after being used a few times) 4 x STAR 30 round mags - utterly useless 2 X MAG Midcaps - yet to use them, but the build quality feels oh so much better than the STAR's i may buy a whole box. 7x TM 68 round locaps 1 x Milspex 68 round locap (same as TM but has an unload feature making it gucci) What's really weird is that my CAm15 likes some mags but not others. Now i know that STARs are a lost cause in a CA (in mine they get stuck in the magw
  12. Whats this in real terms? M15A2 carbione = M16 shorty? Xm177e2?
  13. Isn't the differance between "standard" and "mount" a different hat there?
  14. A few simple rules should keep it self policed i would have guessed. - Seller must describe accurately, with accurate photos of the actual product. - Buyer to pay P&P unless otherwise stated. - Buyer has the right to ask for return only if the product was not as described. Damage in post and not working for whatever reason can't be the seller's fault, as long as the seller tries to come to a conclusion thats is satisfactory for both parties. - Full contact details must be exchanged BEFORE money changes hands. Of course it could work with swaps too. Ie a pair of DPM trouse
  15. Isn't it £3000 you need to earn? So if they were on say £2900....and sold enough to make £100 in a year, they'd have to declare it Plus the import tax - i'd guess the seller factors that into their price.
  16. I think posts outside of the off topic/sales forums works best for that. I mean people win rep points for comedy value, but it doesn't make them good traders.... Well they say on the forums that you should exchange all details before money swaps hands. But if that was made a rule... Things to think of: - Tax - who pays it? Plus declaring it if you make stupid amounts from this, although very unlikely to. - Would the mods want to compromise the no commericial posts rule?
  17. Compeition drives down prices, and if that happens then theres allways ebay to turn to... but to be fair, if someones selling 10 speedloaders for £4 and someone else has 10 at £5, as soon as the cheap ones have sold, people will turn to the others. I wasn't thinking necesarily on a large scale. Putting 2-3 speedloaders onto an order isn't going to put yourself out of pocket etc. Not only that but i wasn't thinking of huge profits either. Making 50p on an item would justify me doing it...
  18. Not as such. See the UK sales and trades - Sales, trades and non airsoft... well i guess it would be another sub forum. It is indeed. I wasn't thinking of making huge amounts, i mean we're all mates here. More of a service than as a get rich quick scheme lol I guess that as long as it was at a price cheaper than in the UK, then anything goes. Yeah, i guess that would be a problem. But as we're just normal people with smallish wallets except donnie - then i would imagine that nothing bigger than a GBB would get sold? I mean unless it get's knackered in the post, no
  19. I know that arnies airsoft in itself is a non-profit making organisation, but is there a chance that we could have a sales forum for those who want to sell in bulk? By this i mean instead of selling on 2nd hand airsoft goods, we could add a few extras to our bulk orders, and make a small profit on what we sell. For example, selling stuff like speedloaders, batteries, cleaning gear, magazines, tac gear or even the guns themselves. They can be had in the east for a damn sight less that in UK. If we had a forum where some UK (or even global etc) guys could sell stuff, with a small profi
  20. Do you have any fps figures as yet please? Plus whats the recoil like compared to say, a KWA glock 19? Sorry if you have fired one, but theyre about the only gbb i can relate to.
  21. Don't rely on that. Some guns such as the baretta and the browning high power (i think...) allow that to work, whereas on others you'll loose your hand.
