  1. Oh snap, that is PERFECT. I'm gonna order those rings and the filler kit tomorrow! I think what I may do is since I have a spare selector switch from an older parts gun, I may take that fake M21 selector, and drill out a hole equal to the cylindrical portion of the M14 switch, then JB-Weld it into place.
  2. I think I'll leave off the RAS, and replace the ARMS rings with some badger ordinance rings, which are much better anyways. Also, joe, PM sent. Anyways, so I'll replace the rings and monkey a little with it.
  3. Justin, based on the photo you posted, that's using an ARMS 21 mount, which is the same mount that I'm running already. So it seems like besides maybe changing my rings out to badger ordinance, and making a ghetto cheekpad out of a black towel and electrical tape, I'm pretty close.
  4. I'm thinking it'd go on the right side of the RAS. Using my square PEQ pressure pad on the side of the stock. Here's my current gun: I can either go two directions, leave it as is, i.e like so: Or go with the RAS like this:
  5. Opinion time, guys I'm updating my M14, and since it'll be used for an Army Sniper rig I'm thinking of adding a KAC RAS upper rail to it. Would that be heresy or would it look decent in your opinions? It would also let me mount my PEQ as well as push my scope up a bit further.
  6. It's a field rigged helmet mount from a flight helmet, but installed on a MICH.
  7. Hey look at me, I'm a pumpkin!
  8. He's doing it through the cuts on the helmet cover.
  9. Small update: New Norotos PVS15 mount (got a wilcox adapter on order to make it fit my PVS-14):
  10. You have no idea how many people fail to realize the elegance of a plain and simple "issued" looking M4A1
  11. If anyone is interested I'm selling my newly acquired Real Sword Type 56-1. Unexpected circumstances have forced this, PM me if interested. Brand new. Ugh
  12. Not recently, the CQBR upper hasn't seen much love since I got the 14.5" assembly.
  13. Oooh oooh, new surefire. M962XM06 with the older school tailcap:
  14. Going to have to completely agree with Mars, MOLLE doesn't mean every bit has to be covered. There's no way, no possible way, you need that many redundant pouches. An m60 pouch, 2x GP pouches, a fanny pack, and a MAP. I've done two day ops where I've carried in a second weapon, night vision, GPS, and all sorts of random *suitcase* needed, and wouldn't come anywhere close to that. So yay it may work for you, but that's just goofy in how much stuff is attached.
  15. Figured I'd share some of mine. TCI RACAL Cobra (basically an ISR with a non-lame ISR PTT): TCI Liberator IIs: All rigged up to an ICOM F4GS.
  16. It's a MAX but very little remains of the PTW parts. Real upper, Prime lower, real receiver extension, LMT stock tube, RAS, etc etc. I basically upgraded the 'suck' out of it.
  17. Yep it's east meets west, i love both, though the M4 is obviously my favorite.
  18. Ooooo Ooooo, I finally got an AK (used to have a 74U).
  19. Nice work Justin, but this belongs in the reader review section, so I'm moving it there.
  20. He certainly has more helmets, but all I was saying is that all of mine (+ accessories) are real and the real MICHs do have a noticeable difference in build quality. This is coming from experience owning more than a few knock offs. I was just commenting that mine were all real, that is all. I've found the repros either have bad bolts, bad straps, wrong shapes, or too thin of shells. People can copy high end guns in all these details but can't get a helmet reproduced well and good.
