EG1000? and while im sure its fine as it is i recon it could be a whole lot better if you could upgrade it. anyhoo, less debate about the UZI being TM's best gun or not, more pictures of them not sure how the finish compares to a real steel, but that zeke uzi really does look too pale. if it were me i'd krylon it black (along with the grips too, but on most things other than the G3A3 im not an OD fan)

i wouldnt worry about plating those V12s myself. theres only point in having castor troy guns IMO if you look like nick cage and plan to attend skirmishes in a black suit and burgendy shirt. if you fit that chriteria however, plate them will all due haste but i think hogue grips and silver controls would work nicely with those V12s

ditto. i'd like to change my ICS for a T56 if i can, if not i'd probably buy a G&G 47 or something and put a spike bayonet on myself....then i would have the niiice bolt too.

i would still like full auto as an option, and a stronger spring than around M100 or 1J isnt an option (due to FPS limits). if i used a 16 tooth piston and filed down the sector gear would that retain precocking, full auto and not self destruct? as i said before would an aluminium 16 tooth be a good idea or not? it would improve the durability of the piston (obviously) but would the probabilty of the piston self destructing just be moved to the gears self destructing which is worse. or would i be able to decrease the trigger lag with say an EG1000 or something without the blowback br

...why the PSG1 uses an 18 tooth piston and pre cocked mechanism. is there ANY way i can reliably and easily retain the precocking system without damaging any parts (blowback included)? i'd like to buy one of these for DMR/sniping/countersniping use and i can see the precocked gearbox being an advantage. the only other way i can think of to minimise trigger lag would be to use a 9.6V+ battery or a faster motor, neither of which i could see doing the blowback much good.

you kinda contradicted yourself a bit there mate by saying you cant do anything to them internally and have to put up with stock velocity, lol. but anyhoo, im not slating the uzi at all, i dont doubt its still a great gun and i'd probably have one myself if it werent for it being a tad impractical compared to other AEGs. but if a clone uzi (with an upgradeable gearbox), more metal (or cheap aftermarket metal) and midcaps i would buy one in a heartbeat and oh dear led, what HAVE you done to that zeke'd uzi?!? it looks queasy

by fitting a 16 tooth and a space will you loose the precocking function?

but you could probably have more metal if you based it on a G3, and full auto. while you'd loose the pre charged gearbox it would be a lot easier to work on a G3 GB

well, apparently its a full VFC clone. SRCs early AKs had great externals but shabby internals, but if they've upped their game this time like they did with their G36 and XM8 (and considering they've cloned VFC i recon they might have) i think it would be worth the gamble. the externals look excellent so at the worst you might have to do some work on the internals, and at about £160 from guns n guys it'd still be chaper than the VFC

i hear if you dip them in red dye then lightly go over them with fine wire wool they look a lot better. the SRC AKS74UN, its a VFC clone, full steel and wood. im considering buying one

although somone said the 10" actually has the same length inner barrell as the 8". and the luger doesnt fit the bill in 2 ways: 1. its not a revolver, and 2 its not as efficient...plus i thi nk the 8" P08 looks over extended
