  1. It's really tough to push out. But it's important that you keep it pushed down completely otherwise that bearing wedges itself between the two making it impossible to drift out. Pushed mine from right to left if it helps but looking at it closely it appeared to be symmetrical.
  2. For what it's worth, I'm sure there are plenty of collectors who merely go through UKARA as a token rather than actual recreation.
  3. Use Glock hammer, should fit. Might even be a better fit than any of the AEGs with the trigger set low because of gearbox limitations.
  4. Tried mapp and it was doing over 380. The kick felt like something was gonna break though.
  5. Huh. Did not notice the bottom was female too. Still, would be easy enough to make an adapter plus the bottom is shorter so might be the right enough length as is and is already fitted with the fill valve.
  6. Did suggest to remove the middle section as it appears the linkage of top and bottom are the same. Haven't had the chance to try it out for myself though.
  7. Thought of getting the ebay ones but none of them are ballistic rated.
  8. I'm pretty sure that stuff is just plain cyanoacrylate super glue. Good for fixing large screws like on the Makarov barrel. On small screws, not so much.
  9. I really hope WE makes a drop-in 10" barrel. This tiny thing isn't really doing much for me.
  10. Damn. That sucks hard. They've plated other pistols in silver, why couldn't they have done the same with this considering it costs more? Also, one of my mags developed a slow leak. Not all too surprised, have had to use sealant on most of my WE mags that use those thin o-rings.
  11. Not. Silver looks the same depth which is worse because it's electroplated.
  12. More on the trigger, the real one also has no discernible break. I believe it's because it's originally intended as a target pistol where a surprise break is desired. Glass rod is more for combat pistols. Looking at the diagram, maybe it's possible to put a hard rubber buffer in front of the trigger to serve as the "wall" before break if that's more your thing.
  13. Or wait for steel slide? Should make it rock around all the more.
  14. Notice how light the slide is? Must be aluminum for better durability but also doesn't provide as much recoil as you'd expect from the size. Also there's a huge cavity in the barrel to stuff weights in, maybe get it close to real weight of 1.9kg with enough lead.
  15. It's not a screw but a spring loaded detent. Push down then drift. Not tried removing it completely so don't know if that ball bearing flies out.
  16. Use higher pressure gas to compensate for temp. Firing mine here at 26-30°C is a lot of fun even on green (more so with map). Also louder with bbs in it due to backpressure pop.
  17. Got mine yesterday and immediately took it apart. Merely filing the hop window a little wider, as expected, makes for a huge improvement. A dab of super glue under the rear sight where the BBU locks it in place (let dried as a spacer before assembly) takes the wobble off. Most of the rattle on the safety addressed by slightly bending the spring plate on both sides slightly inwards and cleaning up the old loctite/superglue from the factory which acted like a spacer (causing slop).
  18. I wouldn't normally recommend something missing screws and not fitting properly out of the box, but given it's just $50 and not that hard to "fix", I'd say it's ok. I've handled a clone MRO myself and the parallax correction was atrocious. You can outline a persons head with the dot at a mere 10m when shifting your vision around the glass.
  19. Got it from this guy: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/FC1-Tactical-Optics-Collimated-Prismatic-Sight-Rifle-Scope-Red-Dot-Fiber-Sight-for-Hunting-Equipment-20/32824684038.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.0EpjJi at the time I ordered he was the only one that had it but now there are also a bunch of others.
  20. Been on the lookout for a replacement hipster red dot since I cracked the lens of my china clone LCO. I happened across this by accident on AliExpress and ordered one straight away. Unfortunately it's taken its sweet time in customs for the past three months so it's only now am able to test it out in person. It's a clone of DI Optical's FC1 which uses a prism as a means to project the red dot to the shooters eye. Surprisingly enough the copy is faithful in that respect that the insides is one big hunk of glass. It uses a single CR2032 battery with an advertised 2moa dot. Right out of the b
