Finished installing a PGC slide on my KWA G18C. -Piano

It's a Hogue HandAll Grip Sleeve. -Piano

The comp barrel is part of the PGC G18 slide and outer barrel kit. I bought it because it was the same price as the KWA metal slide and a lot better. WGCshop, RW, and EHA had them when I last checked. I have a PGC G18C slide and outer barrel waiting to have internals transfered into it. Thanks! -Piano

I think you're seeing the flashhider being superimposed on the Surefire behind it. Great finish on the PDW though. -Piano

Yep, stock barrel length is 22 inches. EBR Chopmods aka Mk14 Mod 0 is 18 inches. -Piano

According to the website, either 22" or 18" medium barrels can be ordered. Based on the picture, I would hazard that is a 22" barrel. -Piano

Jonny - Thanks, I'll take a look into it. Firefly0 - Yes, I need to cut the front fiber down a little and am planning on getting some new fibers for the rear as they were badly seamed. Considering that the DYTAC KSC sights also need modification, I think they were designed with the plastic slide in mind. -Piano

Jonny- Great photos! Who makes the laser grip? Finished fitting some Freedom Art sights to my Boom Arms G34 slide. Some filing was required on the male portion of the dovetail on the sight, maybe 5 minutes worth of careful filing and sanding. More to follow as more parts arrive. -Piano

Mine came in the mail yesterday and does a lot better job of bolting on my SG DD Mk18 than the spanner I was using and engages snugly with the barrel nut. Like the supplied KJW wrench, it has a hole for a ratchet/torque wrench. -Piano

Let me know what route you take. I have a silver Boom Arms Shuey Custom slide on order for my G34 and plan on adding fiber sights and perhaps a magwell. -Piano

Be sure you get the PGC G18 kit, not the G18C kit, if you want the extended outer barrel. I have a G34 inner barrel in my PGC G18 and it ends about half an inch from the end of the outer barrel. -Piano

Eizen- How would you describe the quality of the Action parts that you used? Their non-captured recoil spring is interesting, but having next to no experience with that brand, I am hesitant in purchasing it. -Piano

I'm looking to install a magwell on a KSC G34 that I've purchased from a friend and was wondering if anybody here had any suggestions? There's not many KSC-specific magwells avaliable, so I was thinking about purchasing a real steel magwell. The Dawson ICE magwell seen on several G17s here looks really sharp. -Piano

The MIL-spec MAGPUL MOE fits fine on my KJW and TM M4 stocks seem to fit snugly without rattle according to others here. -Piano

Here's some pictures that might be of use for those wanting to attach a rail to the bottom of your hand guard. The first picture is of a G&P KAC broom handle installed, while the second and third show the way it is attached. You can see the full length bottom rail attached on the left of the pictures, and that is what the little piece of rail is bolted onto. I hope this helps. -Piano

I have a non-serialized KJW M4A1 and it came with the black aluminum piston, which was replaced with the Cradle part. -Piano

I got it from WGC shop, but several other online retailers had it. I might swap out the Hogue sleeve for some die-cut grip tape though. -Piano

On my G&P Mk 14 Mod 0, I installed the long rail that replaces the short bottom rail and the stamped steel piece of metal that the hand guard screws onto. Once that was installed, I bolted on a Sage Industries rail using a couple of screws I had sitting around as the screws that SI included aren't compatible. I hope this helps and will post pictures when I get the chance. -Piano

Kart has released what looks like a MOD 0 front end coupled to a MOD 1 rear so perhaps you could give that a shot? -Piano

A cleaned up picture of my old ATS RAID bag before I sold it. I used it as carry-on luggage, a book bag for college, day bag for duty days back in the service, and as a light hiking bag. I sold it as the version II fixed all the gripes that I had, but it's sold out so I'll probably get a Kifaru or Mystery Ranch ruck to replace it. If we're going to argue semantics, I think pictures of 3-day or assault bags fit just fine in a rucksack picture thread, but if you want, I can dig my Skycrane out of storage and post pictures. -Piano
