FallenGuard- I think it depends very much on the specifc mounting mechanism. The ones I see here are like mine on my airrifle- theres a little thumbscrew that you undo, and that releases the pressure on two little prong things that lock into either side of a mounting stud, then the whole bipod drops off the fore end (the DMRs I see here have a mounting adaptors with the aforementioned stud the fits onto the weaver rail forends to give the bipod somewhere to go).

I'd ask for a refund or exchange it for a better model.... *I kid, I kid!*

Q. for QDrenegade- what is that mount on your scope called, specifically the part that allows you to mount something else (like a lazer) over the top of the scope tube? Been looking for one of those for a while without success... Mucho awesome DMRs guys, loving this thread.

Mock battle scene- planes fly over head and pretend to drop bombs on ground targets, then said targets get blown up with TNT or what not. That, or some silly B-52 pilot decided to do a knife edge around the tower at 10knots again...

Re the coin thing; where I work (britannia royal naval college) we have alot of foreign nationals- kuwaitis, jamaicans, Arab emmirates etc-, and they HATE having coins, to the extent that they will put anything less than £1 in value into the charity tins. Periodically they will also bring down a huge stash of change that they saved in a shoe box or tin etc to be changed up into notes (£10, £20 etc). Im assuming it is the same in the USA, where people prefer 'paper money' since it takes up less space in a wallet, and weighs less...

Rhodekill- funny, I was contemplating buying some good quality PC speakers too, but then I dug out an old hi-fi unit which I was going to bin (tapedeck is bust). I purchased a new twin phono to 3.5mm jack lead, and now I have 120watts rms of high quality music pumping out of my PC. God bless old hi-fis and magic cables.....

Listened to the Tv advert, sounded great. Bought it, only to find there are a hand ful of good tunes, a couple truelly awesome ones, and the rest is pants. Ergo, dont buy it.

Whilst the rep system gave an at-a-glance look at how well liked/respected a member is, I kinda go by how long a person has been a member- respect for elders I guess (not that you have to be old to have been a member a while but you get my meaning). That, and looking at what people actually type will give me a good indication of how intellegent/knowledgable a person is.
