The frame is different because of me. If I wasn't so damn lazy I would take down the gun and wash the lower and upper. I lubed the ###### out of the upper when it was binding with the old outer. the lube made the upper slightly darker. NOVA externals for the body are super nice, but the outer barrel was a aluminum piece of flaming ######. Get a nice steel outer, there are a ton out there. I do vote for the nova kit though, the fitment on mine has been pretty excellent. And RacingManiac, if you ever sell that Kimber, you put me at the top of your list. I need a non railed kimber

RS UBR. ACM shouldn't be used on GBB, there is a warning sheet out there for the replicas from magpul that shows how it can destroy your bolt carrier. Screws interfere, weak *albatross* *suitcase*, etc. Fine for AEG, do not want on GBB.

The front post on here is tritium, its just way shorter then the original post (.2 inch) I dunno if its for a longer or shorter gun but I do know my gun shoots high.

Its a colossal PITA. The front sight is straightforward, but the rear sight needs to have the dovetail carved out for the BBU Channel. This wouldn't be so bad but you cut too deep on trit sights and TOOXIC GAS!!! Id suggest doing other things to the gun first, plus for airsoft sights you might as well just go with Nitesighters Only reason I did it is because I wanted a gun that would just have everything on it. They are sighted way high, like for a .45 at 50 yards. Ill see if I can get a taller front post from Trijicon eventually. Also real Wilson Combat base plates are cheaper.

I can do it one handed. What outer is that? I really wanted a Silver one, but couldn't find one (That wasn't discontinued.). I cant use the prime bushing with this one because the threads are just far enough back that they hit each other, leaving marks, and preventing the camber from locking.
