  1. Because in the middle of a game it's not about how small and concealed your earpiece/ mic is. The important thing is can your team mates hear you? and can you hear them ? The bigger headsets/ boom mics get used because they offer the clarity needed. Eggy
  2. I don't go in for any kind of real world impression. I just need my gear to do the job I ask it to. Took a photo post game on Saturday afternoon. Eggy
  3. JG M4A1 with stock internals and homebrew rear sight. Very pleased with this for the money. I did however find that it's a lot more acurate with 25's rather than the .20's I was using. Eggy
  4. I would advise against using cellulose thiners on your AEG's. It's realy harsh stuff and could easily melt trades off of plastic recievers etc. Also unless you've got propper ventilation it can be a real nightmare. Super fine grade glass paper and a small amount of elbow grease will give you for safer/ non chemical results. Ben
  5. I've stuck with just a plain old carry handle on mine until i can decide which sights would look best/ work best in woodland enviroment. Eggy
  6. These "worn" look M4's made me feel like the paint job on mine was way too shiney and new. So I set about roughing it up a bit. That's the paint side of things sorted. Currently I'm trying to decide if/which optics and if I need/would look cool with a supresser. Eggy
  7. I wonder how long it'll be before China make these ? http://www.ar15.com/content/products/handguns/armalite/ar24/ I'd like a GBB version but would be interested in trying an AEP version seeing as winter is on the way. Eggy
  8. How you gonna do that ? Do you have a link for a tutorial please? Ta. Eggy
  9. Don't often chime in but nice gun Webbjay ! Was that RIS system expensive and did you buy it in the UK ? Cheers, Eggy
  10. Bad photo's I know but I'll get some more when it's day light. I just wanted to post this cheapo AEP up as an example of one I did tonight with Tamiya Olive Drab 2. It onlt took an hour for the whole process and it's dry as well. I use a cheap JLS AEP as I only take it out the holster 1 in three skirmishes and it's locked to full auto for those "oh sh*t!" situations. Eggy
  11. I use Tamiya sprays. They're cheap and if you're only doing light coats at a time they dry in 10mins. Eggy
  12. I play in Scottish woodland so the camo pattern is done to match the enviroment. It's no work of art to be hung on a wall though, in a couple of months there will be some nice signs of were on there. Eggy
  13. Congrats on the ESP Benplaut it's a D-boys gun. Thanks for the comments on the paint guys, it was the first time I'd tried it . Ben PS I've just noticed that the high cap in the picture shows me up to be the noob that I am LOL.
  14. My ACM M4 was only cheap but it's putting out a constant 327fps and it's very reliable. Eggy
  15. Just my cheap ACM M4 and my first go at painting but i used it on Saturday and it blended into the woodland realy well. Eggy
