  1. I've owned the HK416A5 for a couple months now, so here are some thoughts if anyone actually reads this thread: The good: -External quality is great -Ambidextrous features are great- the selector is solid and clicks firmly into place. The bolt catch is truly ambidextrous -Hop up adjustment is very well designed- being able to fine tune with the faux gas regulator is easy, quick, and effective. No more disassembling your GBBR to tune a finicky hop up -Magazines (VMAG and HK mag) are solid with durable feedlips and they have not leaked -The trigger. The single mos
  2. Well, the selector is mushy so I'd like a hard stop. On another note, did anybody's overhop the BBs to heaven? I've got the hop OFF and it sends .28g upwards and .2g just disappear
  3. Has anyone discovered a fix to the over-rotating selector?
  4. I finally found the time to take this to an outdoor game and I'm very pleased. After dealing with G&P/Inokatsu years ago I had given up on GBBRs but the Marui offering is a whole different animal. Accuracy isn't as good as the usual legendary Marui performance but it is still quite good. I had quite a few kills where opponents saw me and simply assumed that I couldn't shoot that far. Photo credit to Anthony Luna of Corpus Christi Airsoft And the old school M4A1 is just so...classic
  5. I picked one up because I felt that Marui's past record justified giving the MWS a chance. So far, loads better than any G&P or Inokatsu that I ever owned. I really wouldn't worry about the trigger. It feels light compared to an actual GI trigger, which is gritty and heavy anyways
  6. Any consensus on the long term durability of this rifle with GG/propane? I may pick one up for garage shooting if I can find it used.
  7. As a test, I chilled a magazine with a full tank of green gas at 35o F for an hour. The Night Warrior fired 16 rounds without issue and another 4 after manually cycling the slide. The Night Winter Warrior is pretty impressive in the cold.
  8. Marui Night Warrior with a MEU frame - I decided to avoid the frustration of fitting a MBK this time Does anyone have a stock Marui 1911A1 slide they want to get rid of?
  9. Tokyo Marui Night Warrior Contents: Ordering Initial Impressions and Features Externals Internals Performance Conclusion 1. Ordering I ordered my TM Night Warrior (I'll refer to this as the M1911 NW) from WGC Shop in Hong Kong during their holiday season 10% off sale. Total with UPS shipping to CONUS came out to right around $150 USD and the pistol arrived within a week of placing my order. I requested that WGC use an orange tip due to the difficulty associated with removing orange paint from plastic, but they informed me that no plastic tips were available. Much to my surp
  10. I'm loving the look of the AK with the forward mounted Aimpoint (shocker, I've been an AR/M14 user) and I am considering either a CYMA AK105 or the GHK model. Is there a replica of the Ultimak forward rail? I'm not too keen on paying the cost of the whole CYMA gun for a rail.
  11. I'm debating between a WE M16A1 and a G&P AEG version of the same gun. I had a WE M14 a while back and it was mostly trouble free, but I plan on running a M16 much harder than I do a DMR-type rifle. If you guys could answer a couple of questions, I'd greatly appreciate it. 1) How long are your stock trigger groups holding up in summer temperatures? 2) How long are your loading nozzles/bolt carriers holding up in the same conditions? 3) How is shot to shot consistency in rapid semi-auto fire? Thanks

  13. And after another round of stain and oil:
  14. Refinished G&G M14. The quality of walnut used on their guns is pretty shoddy.
  15. Refinished Marushin M1 Carbine
