    Custom Gear

    Olive Drab Military spray paint.

    Custom Gear

Chest rig sprayed and with added Velcro on pouches. Also an example to DesertFoxRomel of spray paint on fabrics, the more coats of paint you put on the better the colour, it will slightly wear off eventually but thats how most gear looks in reality anyway.

Thank you, It requires a Desi paint job though. The loops work surprisingly well with all my Osprey PALS pouches too.

Duvel, You have good taste. I must be the only guy in the UK that is aware of it and loves the stuff.

  5. Spent mags would normally go back in the pouch they came from, or a smock/trouser pocket in a hot situation but i don't see any reason why you couldn't use a normal dump pouch rigged up to your belt if thats what you prefer. Also regarding the PLCE assault vest there isn't any Molle loops on the classic version but radio pouches can be bought separately, Although there is a nice new vest on the market which has all the classic features but with added Molle loops on the shoulders. http://www.cadetdirect.com/order1.php?pg=837
  6. Agreed plus i think every British squaddie would take the ###### for wearing 'suspenders'. To be honest the padded belt and all that stuff are not necessary with the British trousers, unlike BDU's the belt loops are exceptionally large and will fit a work belt. Advice for a drop leg would be just a normal TAG Duty Belt along with whatever holster you want.
  7. I see what your talking about, its definitely not the Logo, It appears to be a plastic disk stuck down, it could possibly be a LED torch, a pressure switch or any other device that the guy finds useful to have attached. Cant say for sure what it is though by that photo.
  8. They are Royal Marines in support of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) talking to the Defence Procurement Minister Lord Drayson on the 7th Oct 06 in Afghan regarding the British Viking vehicles; Very accurate loadout Grim, all you need is the Viking now.
  9. Very nice Loadouts you and your Friend have Doughguy. Nice touch with the claymore bag and Smock, really polishes of the impression.
