  1. Nom, nom, nom... VFC's new LLM01 rep.
  2. This Claire - she is indeed an abrupt little *Ubar*. UKTac are pretty useless when it comes to customer service and she badly needs training in how to communicate via email. I was done ordering from them a long time ago...
  3. Great review. Still undecided as I can't guage reliability. And those damn-awful (non-existent) trades...
  4. Much better! Does anyone have any evidence of an L85-mounted ACOG with the EBS?
  5. Cheers! I could do with one o' those eye cups though.
  6. Cheers - just the sort of thing I'm after. This complicates things now, but in a good way. As you've probably worked out, I'm getting some plates done to replace the nasty little things on the WEG39 and others. I'm personally after an early 2000's G36K (KSK) plate but others may want US issue versions. I was lead to believe that US civ/pol/mil markings were the same as my above. Do you have an 'old style' Bundeswehr plate?
  7. Do you have any reference? Would like current and 'older' style if possible.
  8. Indeed, your call. To get the RS rail to fit an AEG takes about a minute with a Dremel.
  9. Yeah, I've seen some right pig's ears around the bazaars. The only two I've never touched is my G36 (difficult to weather polymer anyway) and my VFC HK416 - it's so delicious I simply can't bring myself to do it!
  10. Well... I skirmish once every four to five weeks. I own around 15 rifles which get used on rotation so none of them would ever get worn to any visible extent. Besides, I'm primarily a collector and weathering adds a great deal of authenticity without actually damaging the gun. Most airsoft replicas look like toys without any wear.
  11. Ah, righty - no worries. The rifle's in perfect condition. Never scraped, dinged, battered or bashed; it's all hand-weathered. ;) It's actually a little bit 'worse for wear' than the photos show. I'll get to work on the ACOG/Docter/wings later in the week.
  12. In that case then I'm confused?! MTP logo?
  13. They've been worn a few times for skirmo. Not allowed to wear 'em for work yet.
  14. Yeah... I'm kinda liking that. Great pic too, elchinator.
  15. Took a gamble as they were an unknown site (to me). The site's in French too so I had to rely on my rudimentary knowledge of it but they came through and delivered very quickly. Good communication via email as well (Zero One; take note). http://www.heritage-airsoft.com/index.cfm
  16. Yeah, I had to get a machinist to drill to correct diameter for the outer barrel then re-tap the thread to 14mm CW. Right bugger it was, so I'm told.
  17. Try paying $1225 for it! I paid that and I'm very happy. What do you mean there's no hop up? It doesn't work or it's simply not there? I also don't understand why you'd need a hop on a 390fps, full-auto support weapon. The barrel does come off but is 'reassuringly' tight. Go through the motions of taking it off with the correct unlocking of the barrel then wedge a large flat bladed screwdriver where indicated in the image below. Simply lever the barrel away from the body.
  18. Just bend the plug pins upwards and towards the front out of the way... gently!
  19. Interesting - how do jetcarrier get around ITAR restrictions?
  20. It performs like a flamethrower. Mounted on a locomotive. On steroids. Best money I ever spent on an AEG.
  21. I'm having them engraved as we speak. Results soon.
