This! But also, and I hate to pin this on age, dedicated users of forums, who are of a certain age, have just gown up and they now have different priorities. They still may play Airsoft but they have little time to discuss it or maybe they have little inclination to do so now. I call it Airsoft Fatigue, you just don't get the same level of enthusiasm you once did over new toys. New players who come to the scene, they grew up with social media, writing stuff on forums is just not their cuppa.

Tis indeed a real Shockwave buffer tube, but this is a GBBR so it's basically plug and play.

OK, so I was Googling "Trijicon SRS" and this pic came up, it looked very familiar... This is my PTS Magbul GBBR LM4 build from a few years back, the twitter user nicked my picture and posted it on his account. If you scroll further down the twitter thread, some folks talk about using this to pop a cap in someones bum bum. Some people... EDIT: it was a nice build, just saying

They do a M-LOK version of that RIS, which in hindsight is what I should have bought instead
