  1. Finally got all the furniture together..... Have to say, superb piece of kit. Rock solid, handles very well, very much a CQB weapon. The only difference to the normal G&P M4 Sentry is the Magpul pimping, which at only £25 extra, is worth it IMHO. Told LWA to downgrade it, now shoots 305-320 which is perfect for my CQB site. My only gripe is the utterly ridiculous way the batteries go in but I'm on the lookout for some good quality 7.4 lipo's. I too have has some lockup issues, but for me, it's not that bad, I switch back to safe, then to semi. To be honest, I don't play full au
  2. Hi there, I was wandering if you could help me. I have a KA Sig 556 Shorty and I just brought 10 KA 360 Hicap PMAGS replicas, thinking they would fit the Sig, since they were both made by KA. I was very dissapointed when it didn't, the hicap PMAGS are too wide for the Sig's magwell. Will these midcaps definately fit the 556 Shorty? Thanks.
  3. Apart from the stock, KA products are top notch (IMHO). I would say both are equal in terms of finish. Having said that, some of the paint on my G&P Magpul's top rail has allready started to chip due to optic mounts.
  4. I'm selling my one of my KA SR16 E3 to fund the purchase of this rifle Got my first G&P last Friday, the Magpul Sentry in Sand/DE, superb piece of kit for CQB. Just waiting for the final pieces of Magpul furniture to put on then I'll post some pictures on the G&P Sentry VLTOR thread. I will no longer buy KA because of their loose stocks.
  5. The Sentry is coming, I ordered from LWA on Tuesday, hopefully coming today I could file down the PMAGS, but they are so beautifully crafted, it seems like sacralige to butcher them.
  6. Quick update: recieved my batch today. As hwagan has allready pointed out in his review, these are top quality magazine, superbly built. My problems: dont fit in my KA Sig 556 at, very tight fit in my KA SR16 E3 but a perfect 10 on my Ares SCAR Light. Despite the fit issues, I am very glad I brought these, maybe this is an excuse to buy a new rifle again.
  7. My take on King Arms..... Have a Sig 556 Shorty, one of the best CQB primaries I've ever had, rock solid....apart from stock and buffer tube. I do agree with hwagan here, too much play when hanging loose but I usually shoulder mine when firing so it doesn't bother me that much. Also have a SR16 E3 by KA, this is another piece of quality kit, much abused but still rock solid......apart from stock and buffer tube, same as above. Don't know whether they are tree breakers though I am looking at the S&W M&P15 MOE in tan, haven't read a review yet but I so like the looks All i
  8. Circuit Airsoft is a new name to me. I actually found them via Arnies. They don't have a huge range of stuff but it's all decent quality gear. Anyways, I'm not affiliated with them in anyway but I thought they deserve a mention here because of the top quality customer service. Phone calls are promptly returned, emails are quickly answered and delivery is speedy. And, if you're after some KA 360rd PMAGS, they have them for £22 each , that nearly matches HK prices. I grabbed 10 immediately. Just recieved them in my office 30 mins ago with some other Magpul and BH stuff. James, if yo
  9. I have both, still like the ACOG better.
  10. woot Ordered the sand coloured G&P Magpul from LWA today, they said I should get it Thursday. Doing an experiment in a all black CQB loadout with sand/tan/de Primary and Pistol. Ready the sickbags folks.
  11. I was looking at the LWA site and they have this (GP901) for £300 plus a Magpul one (GP901MS) for £325. Is it just the Magpul parts that makes it £25 more or are they're more tricks in the Magpul one? I read AI Mags review on the Magpul one, they're were quite impressed by it (although they said it cost £300 which confuses me a bit) Pulling the trigger tommorow and would like to know if it's worth the £25 extra and if PMAGS will work on the GP901 version. Thanks for your help!
  12. hwagan, another good review dude, just read this after you posted reply on your KA PMAG thread. Looks like great piece of kit, this would be a contender for me but a budget is a budget, and with cash being tight, 400 squid is just 100 too many for me right now First thing tommorow, call LWA up and see if they have anymore G&P Sentry's in stock
  13. Ares SR 25 M110 SASS KA SR16 E3 Both still factory spec inside and out, haven't had the time/imagination to enhance them yet. Solid rifles, well made and nice trades on both. Shoots well, 390-410 for SR16, 420-320 for SR25 Soz for large pics and soz for pics not being very artistic, I have no sense of "flair"
  14. My KA Sig 556 Shorty, used for CQB, fires 340 on a 9.6v (shape is bespoke of KA, very annoying).
  15. hwagan, thanks for the offer to help but I pulled the trigger yesterday and brought 10 from Circuit Airsoft. I haven't used these people before but they were unbelivably good value at £22 each. I got 10, five black, five DE. If they don't work on the Sig, I'll use with my KA SR16 or my Ares SCAR Light. I've allways wanted a DE coloured rifle so the DE ones will come in handy, currently looking at a G&P Magpul Sentry. I'm glad you like the KA Sig 556 Shorty, solid piece of kit for CQB, fires 340 on a 9.6v. Added bonus of being quite rare at Airsoft games. Enjoy the pic! (so
  16. Good place to shop, called up before hand to see if they had ESS Advancer V12's and its perscription inserts, they confirmed, told me to make order on website. I did, this was a Friday 28/05/10, got items next day. Cost me £12.50 for delivery, but you guys know, when you need something, you really NEED it. Good to know they can fulfil order and deliver this urgent. Sorry for necro post.
  17. Very good review, nice to know they're solid. My KA Sig series hi caps fell apart on 2nd game, screw at botom fell out, very annoyed. hwagan, do you think this will fit a KA Sig 556 Shorty?, as a guidance, TM M4 hicaps are very tight fit
