Guys we have an M14 picture thread, I cant imagine this thread lasting long. Both are great guns there is really no need for this thread. I dunno I guess i'm outa place saying this but I'd still rather have the TM M14 then the G&G Huh funny noticing the screw. That screw is for the Wood Stock version so it stays flush with the gun. Guess another reason G&G's are not as accurate to the real thing as the TM. PLUS with the TM you can buy 15 dollar Upperhandguard replacements that are the real thing and put emon your gun and remove that shine

I have pretty big hands and I still have yet to find a gun that doesnt have enough grip space for me to place my hands. I think its an excuse for ex paintballers to shoot with their middle finger either that or some decendents of English Longbowmen who like displaying their middle finger and shooting with it as well

Anywhere that sells the Bayonet for one? Its not an M9 bayonet because the m9 is for the M16... I think its like the M7 or something... dunno Why you'd want a real one is beyond me

No the pinion gear is the cause of Lock Ups in my oppinion. A buddy of mine had all guarder internals in his P90 but it was locking up because the TM Pinion wasent engaging correctly. I think this only occurs in some guns as is if it was some sort of factory fault. It might not be a bad idea to replace the pinion with a reinforced one if your looking to push the upper limits of US fields. No its not hard to replace, it just requires a special tool and the removal of the motor from its housing (which appears quite difficult tbh). I'm not saying they are bad, infact they are very nice just be aware that if you buy a Guarder FTK you have to buy a Guarder Pinion gear or risk jamming every few rounds.... Its an unfortunate turn of events ><

Maybe you should email em back and tell em to ship pinion gears with their FTK's to alleviate gearbox jams caused by their gears being a slight *albartroth* hair off (enough that their gears have nearly destroyed my TM Pinion....) On the flip side you should also email them about making a steel reciever (thats cheap becaues I'm poor) so that I can stop complaining about mine and get a working E2

Hah, if we had more v7 gearbox guns there would be a higher need for the parts =) As it stands there are about 18 diff companies making M4's and Mp5's all with V2 gearboxes... Now if there were more v7's.... we'd be set!

Dont let it fool you, there are some steps in the Disassembly guide that could be taken out as they arnt necessary. Once you get comfortable taking it apart it becomes a breeze, just dont loose anything because replacement parts are non existent... We need more V7 gearbox guns =\

WARNING DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Mauri Pot Metal strikes again. This happened a while ago actually but Dont overtighten the scope mounts. They will strip out the hole. If you overtighten you'll know because your scope mount will keep getting looser and looser as you play. Kinda sucks... I'm waiting either to hear about the CYMA one (For parts) or FarEasts' business to get up to buy a replacement. Gosh dang Thrasher... Stop that, I think i may have to go clean up the drool from my keyboard now

Well aside from the fact that the nearest BP Amaco (for me to use my gas card) is in Phoenix there is no way to really get gas except the not so cheapo express fuel stop nearby which is getting more expensive as the day progresses... <Insert Poor College Student Excuse here> We'll see
