NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm guessing everyone else uses the G&P midcaps then? Is it normal for them to spit out their load if you hit them slightly? How do I keep them from doing this in my pouches?

Just dropped in to post pic of my DBOY AK74M with it's new set of mid-caps. Are these the right magazines though? They look different than the regular ones with the little lines going down each side. They're plum colored by the way like the real steel, or so I'm told.

I got my MAG midcaps in the other day. The difference between these and my old DBOY hi-cap are amazing. I could instantly feel that the MAG mid-caps are far more sturdier and they fed perfectly out of the box, I added some silicon oil for good measure just in case. Only thing I feel bad about is that the MAG midcaps had no markings, not a bad deal, just that the DBOY hi-cap had the Izmash factory marking and mold number. No matter.

Thanks for that tidbit of info. I guess I'm going with the Classic Army G3A3. OD furniture FTW! Now if only I can find a way to get those god-awful trades off. They're engraved right?

If anyone has a Jing Gong G3, is the cocking tube assembly metal? I was originally going to buy a Classic Army G3 but I kind of don't like how the trades are engraved. I was going to have it custom engraved. So I was going to save some money and buy a JG G3 and a blank G3 metal body. But if the cocking tube assembly on the JG isn't metal then I don't think it would be financially viable.

I'm debating about that now since I hear the GWS kit sight is ######. How is the SRC sight? Also does it have the same trades as the GWS kit? I someone would take pics of the "trades" I see on the SRC XM8s but the pics that I see are too blurry.

I'm thinking of buying a JG G36C and using the GWS XM8 conversion kit, do you guys think it will work?

I'm guessing the plastic is alot sturdier then. Any stories about the locking tabs snapping? Thanks.

Nice AKs dude. I'm not making enough money to have more than one primary AK. I hope to buy a CYMA AK-47 and convert it into an RPK to compliment my DBOY AK-74M. Anyways my DBOY hi-cap broke the other day, the locking tab on the mag broke. I'm going to pick up a box of MAG mid-caps, can't wait to stop winding. XD Do MAG mid caps tend to break at the locking tab like my DBOY hi-cap did or is it just a case of the crappy plastic that the DBOY mag was made of? The DBOY hi-cap was about 3-4 months old.

How long would the inner barrel have to be if I were to use the Madbull PS90 barrel extension?

The Echo1/KS/ACM P90 low-cap mags are missing the fake springs that the TM has correct? What about the fake bullets do they looks as good as the TM version?

Bah, since no one wanted to answer my question, I have a metal hop-up and Madbull buckings/spacers in the mail at the moment.
