  1. Been toying with making some spacers. Got a totally dumb question if someone would mind helping me with this- Anyone with a Glock rear sight seeing how different the proportions are to the XDM one? I'm thinking of bodging together a sight mount for a Docter. Wondering if this is feasible with some basic machining
  2. That's really strange... mine's had terrific gas efficiency since I took it out of the box, and it's only been between 5-15 degrees so far. Then again, it's only ever used in semi.
  3. No problems insofar! The piston head kinda sucks and is loose (the screw is too long so it keeps it on loosely regardless of being tightened- switching piston heads changed this, but I'm not sure what brand it was). No real problems. The Guns Modify Zero Hammer version 3 didn't work at all, it just vented gas everywhere. Out of the box it underhopped, but after the better hop up rubber and the Hop Assist Device it's probably the best gas pistol I've ever used- throwing in a Guns Modify adjustable trigger took away most of the crunch and pretravel. I've started taking it out instead of my
  4. Anyone experiment with different tensioners/nubs? I read something about someone using an H-nub to great effect somewhere. I don't feel like pulling mine apart to take a look, but at the very least an H-nub should definitely fit given the design. If a flat hop tensioner fits, bonus points. Still on the hunt for a good bucking that'll get me hitting out to 60m reliably, so far the white RA Tech one combined with the Angry Gun barrel is looking like a winner.
  5. In retrospect, after a proper range test in controlled conditions, my .28s aren't flying out as far as I thought they were. RA Tech OB black bucking and stock inner barrel don't work all that well, and cranking it up too much results in jams. It's tighter groupings but not really further range than the stock barrel. Any combos work well with .28s and either a stock or an Angry Gun 250mm barrel? Right now my Glock 19 with stock inner barrel, A+ Studio hop assist and Nine Ball is hitting slightly further range (about 60m)
  6. Doublepost, but this is relevant to the people on the previous page. Underhopping can be addressed by slightly bending the hop up bar with a pair of pliers, or using an A+ Hop Assist Device and a Nine Ball bucking. Adds a massive amount of effective range, the BB carries flat about 50 meters and trails off at 60 with a .28. In my HK3 G17, a Tanio Koba Twist barrel and a Nine Ball bucking hits about 50m with a .28, but has much tighter groupings.
  7. That looks great! Outstanding work as of always. And a relevant question to those that've used this- any pistol heads give anyone luck with the WE nozzle? My tolerances are fairly loose between the piston head and the inside of the loading nozzle.
  8. No worries! Sadly I'm not sure about this issue. Have you taken a look at the NPAS? One time, I took it apart to find that the entire unit had unscrewed itself over time, had to loctite it back in place.
  9. Hammer spring? My WE AK had a broken hammer spring and that exact problem.
  10. My faithful workhorse, a WE Glock 19 Gen4. With a Nine Ball bucking and an A+ Hop Assist Device, it's hitting past 60 metres. Front bit has been filed off to add the Griffon Industries logo, and I sort of like the taper.
  11. I pushed mine out with a hex key, after I screwed off the back part.
  12. That's weird. There should be an Oring on the piece inside, the nozzle itself inside the valve. Sort of like the bottom one here
  13. Did you take apart the nozzle inside the full valve? I had that problem with my WE M4 mag, the Oring had moved out of place
  14. REAPS MG2 was too hard for me to run on cold days (5 deg and below). I assume 1 would be easier thanks to it being softer.
  15. Strange... mine is black. Google-fu is showing me nothing but clear or blue hop up rubbers from RA Tech, but mine came in sealed RA Tech packaging.
  16. Quick update- NPAS, stock inner barrel, RA tech rubber- I'm hitting 60 meters effective range easily. This thing's making my WOC cry with the hop up design, it's just so much better.
  17. Steel 6.03 Angry Gun tightbore, 250mm. Hop up rubber is an RA Tech made for Open Bolt guns. It seems to lack the slight crowning on the hop up end of the barrel that the WE stock barrel has, but that's the only difference I can see. Every 2nd shot came out at a lower velocity- keeping the RA Tech rubber and a stock barrel, this problem goes away.
  18. I just put in a RA Tech hop combined with an Angry Gun barrel, and it seems it's now lobbing one out of two shots I'll get sixty meters out of one shot, and then forty out of the next. Sixty, forty, sixty, forty, etc. I don't think it's the nozzle and it's not the magazine- switched nozzles entirely with the same result. Only thing that's changed was the barrel (Angry Gun tightbore) and hop up. EDIT- Update I switched back to a stock barrel, and the range and accuracy is amazing. It wasn't the bucking, it was the Angry Gun tightbore- which is strange.
  19. Did not know that, actually. I stand corrected. Still stands to point though, as long as people are able to get fresh supplies of the gun there'll be a market for replacements- at this point, all production looks like it will be stopped
  20. My worry for that is that KSC is still making Glocks actively without anyone stepping in- if Kriss is willing to go after KSC for making the Kriss and they stop, I imagine replacement parts would too.
  21. We have that problem too, started happening during a function test and now full auto only works intermittently. Can't find a fix online for the life of me
  22. I heard mutterings of C02 magazines in the future, can anyone substantiate this? The gas that worked in 0-2deg cold was dry propane
  23. Took the KRISS outside yesterday in 1-2 degrees Celsius. Was getting good power, no stoppages, fired about 30 rounds in a mag before reloading (mag was short stacked and not filled entirely, it didn't run out of gas after 30 but was filled preemptively). Worked far better than any other GBBR there save the FPG.
  24. So, my gun stopped working in the cold entirely- would lob shots about 10m tops. Turns out it wasn't the nozzle, but REAPS MG2- in cold weather there wasn't enough gas pressure to shoot the BB past the bucking at all, and the other BB being chambered was actually what was propelling the round (so if there were no more bbs in the mag, the last round would stay in the chamber). Guess it's time to change to an MG1.
