  1. I bought one of these earlier in the year to use as part of a people's front army. For the money, I don't think there is anything close in terms of quality etc. I retrieved my mags easy and it is comfortable to wear and use.
  2. Can anyone point my to somewhere that sells a selection of 1911 slides please? Have tried looking in a few places but to no avail.
  3. My SAI Glock 17 build using a WE Gen3 17 and Ace1Arms trigger and slide set. The outer barrel finish was rubbish so I had it cerakoted in shimmer gold. All the stippling was done by myself.
  4. I use this forum as it contains good info, news and pics. I am waiting for my posts to come up but not in much of a hurry. Out of the forums that I frequent, I like this one the best though its the one that I post on the least! Don't change a thing as it is working fine it seems.
  5. Used mine at a game yesterday, first time using it after fitting a Prometheous TB and Firefly hop and nub that I bought from Eagle 6. Accuracy was awesome and range is getting better. Had so many kills, it was great! 95% were on semi as well as we have an ammo limit whilst playing so I don't use auto much at all. Best rifle I have had and it should only get better
  6. I have a couple of ATACS FG 7.62 fast mags that I am not going to use. Make an offer if you wish?
  7. I also heard good things about these, was in the market for a new aeg so went for a lightly used sopmod. I Love it! Recoil is excellent, range and the noise is awesome. Best thing I have spent my money on, can't see me selling it for anything else.
  8. WE Hi Capa Dragon. Gone is the nasty slide which has been replaced my an FP metal slide and Cerakoted by Riflecraft. Slide is Titanium and lower is blue titanium. I also filed down the safety so it sits flush when in the hand and angled the magwell a bit more.
  9. Little bit of help and advice please. I would like to buy the Firefly hop rubber and nub but what combination would I need? I can find the soft rubber and hard nub for sale in the UK but that's about it! I use 0.25's if that is any use? Thanks
  10. Are there any alternatives to the FIrefly backing and nub as I can't find anywhere in the UK that has them in stock?? Is it the 363mm Prometheus 6.03 TB that is the one to go for? Many thanks
  11. I thought I was the one jealous of your collection!
  12. Just finished my SOPMOD Build as follows. Magpul MOE grip and trigger guard, Magpul ASAP, Laylax hard buffer ring, Magpul XTM handstop, Troy battle sights, Vortex RS Strikefire, Madbull VTACS 11" battle rail and Magpul ACS stock modded to fit the 7.4v nunchuck batteries in.
  13. Just finished my SOPMOD Build as follows. Magpul MOE grip and trigger guard, Magpul ASAP, Laylax hard buffer ring, Magpul XTM handstop, Troy battle sights, Vortex RS Strikefire, Madbull VTACS 11" battle rail and Magpul ACS stock modded to fit the 7.4v nunchuck batteries in.
  14. I have nun chuck batteries, so I would have to remove the buttplate anyway. Having the connectors where they are means I can connect and disconnect easily. First time out with it tomorrow and looking forward to it. Just ordered my Laylax spanner and lock ring from Fire Support today and received my ASAP today. Another job for next week.
  15. Stock closes all the way and also has full extension. I removed the contact bar and contacts and soldered the cable onto the ends (in case I wanted to reverse it). I made a hole in the middle of the stock big enough for the deans connectors to go through. The pods at the side were removed and then a 19mm HSS drill put down and finished off with a file so the batteries fit nicely. I cut a groove for the cables to go through and passed the deans connector into the "storage" area. Plenty of slack for extension and I can pull out the connectors from the little door.
