  1. How are the optics on it? The photographer in me is going towards buying a Zpoint. I would figure it looks a bit better than most sights because its a Zeiss. Eclan scopes have Leica lenses and you can definitely tell the difference between them and other scopes (Eclan = Ernst Leitz CANada).
  2. The term is "liberate," not download
  3. Im not a big guy by any means and I think the recoil from an MP5 is very manigable. Its more of a press against your shoulder than a shove
  4. Thank you Darkholme, you've done some pretty nifty things yourself Are you using CS2?
  5. I was following the angle of the P90's grip, even though it does look a little awkward it would probably feel alright. The end of the stock to the trigger is the same length as the P90 which reminds me, I need a forward grip on there somewhere!
  6. Well the LR300 is named as such because its effective range is 300m, so that's where I got the name for my 9mm version. I used a P90, a LR300ML, and a MP5 as well as a few others for some details. Feel free to badmouth it, I know its a bit out there
  7. This is what told to do: I could have guessed that! I'll give it a try in the test forum. EDIT: Bit of a doh! moment http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...ST&f=34&t=47849
  8. I've contacted the admin as well as a few of the moderators. In case you want to email the admin for yourself, here is his address: David_Leggett2000@yahoo.com I'll let you know if I have any luck
  9. Grey Cobra is a design related forum that I am a part of and they have a signature of the week competition that is very well run: http://www.greycobra.com/forums/index.php?showforum=33 Just in case you were looking for an example.
  10. I use 2 or 3 Arri compact lights that are super expensive and don't belong to me, but you could do just about the same thing I have done with anything that uses a lightbulb and can be positioned. The lights were set up at lower angles to the horizontal surface of the gun, so the light bounces off the side of it and highlights it. I usually have most of my light coming from one side of the picture because it creates more contrast. The camera's position is important too because the lights' effect on the gun will look different depending upon what angle you view the gun at.
  11. KSC USP Compact: http://img78.imageshack.us/my.php?image=uspl21lq.jpg Tanaka Colt SAA Civilian http://img511.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wpcolt6ky.jpg
  12. The problem is the barrel size: See how HK did it right on their real USPCT? Milling the slide seems like too much work, you should make the barrel longer in some way to make a suppressor with a wide diameter like yours work. Also with the Protec unit and the highflow valve, the lower frame cracked right open from the amount of recoil when I used green gas with this set up. The hammer spring probably didn't help much either.
  13. I took a picture of the chamber on my Shooters Design barrel, which has the correct nomenclature on it, and then had it engraved at a trophy shop using the image as a template. I also had a new threaded end piece made for me by my uncle who owns a lathe. The one that comes with the barrel is not long enough to allow the slide to cycle with the GBTech suppressor. Then I had a friend of mine who works at an automotive shop send the whole thing out to get anodized once it was finished. I was recently able to source a real USP Compact safety and it fits perfect. I'd like to get a real slide
  14. External parts: Shooters Design slide G&G threaded outer barrel (stripped and re-finished) GBTech Advanced Armament Spider sound suppressor Internal parts: Nine Ball 603 inner barrel with hopup bb Protec bearing super speed recoil unit Nine Ball KSC magazine valve Piston cup replaced with large o-ring Proud 150% hammer spring (cut) The parts I started with added up to almost $500, but the custom work I had done to the threaded G&G barrel put it into the .5k club.
  15. Yeah everything you own is just too much for me to even look at.
  16. I guess I was close http://www.triplebreakproducts.com/images/...H_ON_RIFLE2.JPG I'm sure its some obscure company that no one here has heard of. Ahh its the GGGAZ modular system, I knew I had seen that before. So much for obscure company, huh?
  17. It kind of looks like one of those Olympic Arms uppers, they are called FIRSHs I think.
  18. Western Arms Smith & Wesson TSW? You can see the logo above the trigger if you squint.
  19. Looks very functional, Spoon. Like everything is there for a reason.
  20. Thats looks very classy Titleist. Are you as happy with how it came out?
  21. Thats too bad Yeah I dont know if I would have the balls to paint a Leupold and you may want to swap stocks at one point so why paint the receiver? If it were my gun I just wouldnt do anything super fancy like digital camo or tigerstipe. Hope it all works out for ya.
  22. How bad is the crack? If you were to use some wood glue, and then clamp it up as it dries, it could be like new again. If you are going to camouflage it, then would stay away from the more complicated patterns, they end up making the replica look more artificial in my opinion. Especially with the M14, it's such a simple rifle to begin with. I would go with what the guys whose lives depend on it do: http://img206.echo.cx/img206/2820/278thregcombtm1stid8jv.jpg see how natural that looks? Just pick two colors that are close together and let the overspray from the can do all the blend
  23. I had to have it engraved. I was not very happy with the G&G barrel when I bought it. Mine might as well be made from scratch.
