  1. Tell me about it. Ive got a black stealth jacket copy and I love it. I really want a hooded tan one next.
  2. I wanted to love my CA SCAR. Really wanted to love it. But I have finally come to admit to myself that it causes me immense pain and suffering. I have owned mine since the first week they were realised in the UK, and I immediately fell in love with the looks and the feel. At my first skirmish I chrono'd it, aware of all the envious looks I was getting. A respectable 320fps. Lovely. And it sounded great when being fired. Went to set the hop up, and realised my mag wasn't feeding properly. Damn I thought, a dead midcap, just what I need. Swapped the mag, same thing, then the ne
  3. Another CA SCAR owner here whos tappet plate has broken. Mine had less than 200 rds through it before it gave up the ghost- barely managed to get the gun chrono'd and the hop set up at its first skirmish before it died.
  4. My CA SCAR Light, just picked it up today, nothing flash added to it other than a Aimpoint cover and rubber rail covers. I think they add a certain something....
  5. I don't think it has anything over the other guns apart from looks to be honest Well apart from the folding stock which is the main reason I bought it- I wante a small SMG style gun but couldn't jusitfy splashing out on loads more hi caps. Now I have 3 different M4 variants and loads os hicaps! It certainly does not out perform my CA M15 CQB which is standard out of the box. Mind you that gun is the benchmark for all others in my eyes! For me though the GR300s is the best looking stock M4 variant out there bar none. The stock performance is only average though. Well the reviews I read s
  6. 1- yes you can- it comes with really nice quick release sling mounts that can be put in various configurations to suit taste and handedness. 2- There is no rail on the foregrip so in theory you cannot put a vertical foregrip on. I'm sure theres a work around though. The short version is 23 inches long with the stock folded.
  7. Well the GR300s is back from the workshop. Apparently the motor had slipped down and failed to engage the main gear correctly, thus stripping it. While it was open we threw a deep fire piston in there and some metal bearings. With the upgrades its now firing at a steady 328fps which is great. The hop was fine, the problem was it was smothered in grease- apparently this is common on G&G's. Its now performing much better with most of the grease cleaned off.
  8. Bit of a bump but having had my GR300S for a month or so I thought I would tell you of my experiences. Obviously its an amazing looking gun and I fell in love with looks at first sight. Now FarEast got 320 out of the box with his, but mine was firing at 270! So not very happy with that I put it in to my local shop for a 1j upgrade. The tech in the shop had a massive problem upping the fps, even sticking a M110 in there only got it up to 300 fps! He also said what a pain it was to install. So I take it to its first skirmish still not overly impressed with the performance-
  9. OK heres mine. Not done much to it yet, but I thought you may get a kick out of the AGX slung underneath it!
