Catman
porting the barel isn't a good idea. Is the cylinder ported at all in the gun?
Sale
Is the cylinder ported at all in the gun? It has a port in the rear, which makes the volume equal to a full cylinder of a regular AEG. -Sale
lewis hiscock
i think i'll give it a test with one of my lesser AEG's and post back results
Onerimeuse
Yeah, I actually think your idea will work. I'd love to be able to just unplug something and make my 416 CQB skirmishable.
lewis hiscock
thats exactly where im coming from, i dont want to lose the power altogether just for site skirmishing
clintonwelding1
I'm not sure how happy skirmish sites would be with someone having an adjustable power gun. systema ptw is an adjustable power gun
DesertFoxRomel
like what sale said, I think making holes into the piston head would be alot easier and less affect on accuracy. And if changing the barrel in ur gun is alot eaiser "for example, my CA15A4 CQBR, to change barrels, all you need to do is unscrew the foward pivot pin, pull out the upper reciever, remove hop up+ barrel assembly, remove barrel and there u go*, I would suggest buying some cheap barrels and cutting them to certain lengths to get the desired velocity. Longer to stock length= high vel, shorter= low vel. I saw a cheap, $10 SRC M4 lenght AEG barrel at www.jungletoy.com, but since they revamped their site DX oh well. I know, you would lose velocity, but atleast its adjustable, and more predictable than drilling holes into the aeg.
