GuzziHero
I want to do a loadout based in the old detective shows from the 50s (Dragnet being my particular target) and try as I might I cant find plain tweed blazer jackets in any charity shops or whatever near me. Does anyone know of affordable retailers of 50's vintage suits or blazers in sizes up to 44" waist/50" chest? Cheers

GuzziHero
Problem is, all suit jackets these days are cut wrong. Totally wrong, for the 50's. They have ludicrous padded shoulders and low-stitched arms so that if you dont keep your arms straight down by your sides, the entire jacket lifts. Theyre uncomfortable, inconvenient and pretty sad, tbh. I call them clown suits. Any trousers will do...I can find them easy. I just need a tweed jacket. Grey, brown, blue, even green. Just cant find one in 48/
