Stealthbomber
With all this discussion about the ability of glass or metallic bbs to transfer energy, why are these even produced? They arent practical for skirmishing (breaking windows, teeth) and they could possibly damage inner barrels. Is there any way in which they are superior to plastic bbs for airsoft purposes? Can they be polished to a higher consistency to achieve greater accuracy? Because if not, i can't see any possible reason why metal bbs of the same weight would be better for target shooting or skirmishing than comparable plastic bbs. That's pretty-much it. Plastic BBs are manufactured on sprues, like airfix kits. Expensive ones are then finished by other methods to improve quality. Glass and metal BBs are manufactured by different methods which makes it easier to produce a perfect sphere with no seams.
