Isamu
I am waiting for a range finder to attach into a scope since my range sizing skills are below desirable... so, since it will be fielded most of the skirmishes i am afraid a pesky BB could shatter any of the lenses, so I need a way to protect them I thought about a clear piece of plastic and fix it in some *suitcasey way, but since those gadgets use a laser to size the distance to target, im afraid it could mess up the readings So, is a clear piece of plastic enough to protect the gadget without messing the readings? or there is a better way to do it? Thank you very much
Stuey
Find a scrap of plastic and try it? That's probably the easiest/cheapest way if it does work.
Pdubyuh
How about a mesh flash kill for a sight? if you could align the beam out of one of the gaps it could work? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=sight+flash+kill&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=923&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=EaOJVPWqJtSp7AaMtoGACw&ved=0CCAQsAQ
Isamu
Could work, I will try with a piece of hard plastic and see if the readings vary, if it doesnt work, i will see how the killflash work Thanks for the advices
shmook
Wear it on a lanyard round your neck and tuck it in your jacket?
Isamu
To be honest, that was my first idea, and will probably do it those days I dont feel DMR-ish, but I wanted to tuck the little thing to the scope so I could look tactic00l... ^_^U

heroshark
If you lined it up right would a large hole mesh would work?
ED-SKaR
Try it with clear perspex from an old pair of goggles or something, see if it changes the readings. Is the aperture less than 6mm? Mesh or a hole drilled in a protective plate would work.
