Azubi
What exactly is the point of this thread?
Horsem4n
He probably assumes that like other forums, thare are populations of users that frequent only certain sections. As if maybe there will be a more reinactment based descussion here instead of the discussion on the news thread.
muppetdaze
Pretty much exactly this is the WW2 forum so something as important as a WW2 service revolver's existence is a pretty big thing and yes there are forums where people do indeed not read what they think is non applicable to themselves
muppetdaze
And I got one, it's superb just need to find someone to craft some wooden grips for it now 8)
magoo 3
Whats the FPS? My local site is nervous of CO2 and I'd like one also!
muppetdaze
Not got a clue, it certainly embeds a .20 further through a cardboard box than my 280fps M16 though, will be taking it down to my local to crono it, but with no hop and a straight through barrel it finally gives me something to do with those dead cheap BB's that get given away with new guns
Spudgun
I've no idea of the FPS, but the range is poor without a hop. At the moment, it's not really a skirmishable pistol.
heroshark
You can mod a hop into it and adjust the fps if you know what your doing.
ED-SKaR
This should all be in the real thread... Not sure if it's worth merging. My webley is the 'airsoft'* version and puts a .2g bb out at 300-310fps with a fresh bulb. * It doesn't have a fruitcaging hop unit, it's not a gakking airsoft gun. You can mod a hop into it and adjust the fps if you know what your doing.I really need to get around to putting a hop in mine. Haven't taken the frame on mine apart yet. I want to switch over to green gas for it and dial the power back up to where it is now. Is there a guide for the frame takedown?
Spudgun
I'd like to see an idiots guide to fitting a hop. As far as I can see. There's a pin that retains the spring loaded nozzle that butts onto the front of the cylinder (It's on the front section of the frame, near the barrel). I'm guessing that driving out this pin, the inner barrel can be removed. The cylinder is easy enough to remove by taking out the screw on the rear frame ejector mech. I'm guessing that a nozzle is reamed out to accept a cut down AEG barrel and a hop rubber (fixed hop).
ED-SKaR
That's pretty much it, I'll see if I can organise myself into doing a hop guide. Usually my projects take far too long (My BMG project is, what, 6 years old and not finished yet :s)
renegadecow
I'd like to see an idiots guide to fitting a hop. I could write up a guide but using one of my SAAs for the pics. However, if you're to have an idiot do it I can't guarantee the success of the install.

renegadecow
I'm thinking this sort of idiot: http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/215175-stuff-of-nightmares/
