Wingman
Built up a G17 Style pistol based on a Timber Wolf frame, Guarder internals including trigger, Guarder Salient slide, KJW KP13 threaded barrel, Maple Leaf hop unit with inner barrel. Sights are presently the KP13 Rear with front sight which uses fiber optic and tritium. I'm looking to put a good Red Dot on the pistol that can handle the battering of CO2 on a regular basis. I'd also need a mounting base. Your suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.
renegadecow
TM just came out with their own kind of Docter sights specifically marketed for pistols. Granted they only make guns on 134a, but I think it would work well enough on CO2 as well.

Guges Mk3
Bet it's not "shoot" proof...i.e. take a hit from an incoming BB on the glass and survive. There is only one option for that....
renegadecow
Says it is in the product page. Lens is made of polycarbonate.
NonEx
But maybe only from Marui sub 280 FPS shots ?
Guges Mk3
Polycarbonate...yeah...I am so on the wall for that.
Wingman
Does the Marui sight seen to project past the rear-end of the slide?
renegadecow
Depends on the mount. On their Glock it replaces the rear sight and since the center of balance is at the mounting point the whole sight is shifted rearward with a bit of overhang.
