I know this is straying from the subject matter of the board, which is why I'm asking for interest before I simply post them. They really are beautiful pistols, and very well engineered. It was given to me with this 1911 holster that my grandfather used while he carried it as his sidearm during the Battle of the Bulge. I bought this swanky case for it recently: I found a manual in German dated 1943 to keep with it: Manual cover Components Components - firing And some other pictures: P38 - 1 P38 - 2 P38 - 3 P38 - 4 The blueing has started to wear from being in a holster for 65 years, but it still shoots great, and means a lot to me due to the family history attached to it.
