Those who mod the BE XM8 are probobly regretting now... Nightfire is Rite too, it is a Aluminium 3X scope.. which mean if you drop it, It's doomed... Yeah, I got that Question too.... If it is as good as the one CA uses on their G36 models then it will be a winner. If it has as poor eye relief as the Star G36K kit used to have I would rather have an empty tube. 3vi1-D4n Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 Went to DEN, had a toy-toy with the SRC XM8. Feels ok, certain things I like but I don't. I like the rubber grip, the scope, mags, metal mech. Moulding is better than the DE and the BE version and feels "not too bad". The weight is lighter than a G36K and since no one has the real deal I can't say if it should be that light or not. The receiver I find on the SRC to be less thick than the DE version around the center of the upper receiver and flexes when pressed into it. But still gun is solid anyways. I didn't get to fire it int the shop, as I was too busy buying a KA FAL instead. Link to post Share on other sites
