D10
This looks like a rather strange shell. Anyone got any ideas on what it does or how how it works?

Wraith18A
Prolly sorta like a "frangible" round... those cracks are stress points, so when it hits something hard, it'll shatter, hopefully with enough force that people feel it. I'm totally going to get one.

ardrummer292
If nothing else, it could be a very effective "beehive" round for room clearing.
Wraith18A
Well, again, what he said... TBH, it does look like a frangible. I wouldn't be surprised if it operated on the same principle.
Ubar
no, it will just fire, float about in the wind and then fall on the ground, without shattering, exploding or firing bees...

amateurstuntman
STAY CLEAR! This is not a new round at all. It looks like someone has found a warehouse full of those things from about 12 years ago. I have 2 they are totally bone, the polystyrene is a thin coat around a hard plastic shell. The mechanism is mostly brittle plastic that becomes even more brittle when it is cold. Like when it is gassed up. The firing mechanism is even more annoying than moscart ones and fragile too. I will post up some photos of this soon so you know I am serious but please remember that SP was making GLs years ago and this was one of the first shells avaliable. OLD, BONK, TECHNOLOGY.
