Ok, well I didnt know if I should post this here or in the Projects Suggestions subforum, but whatever..

Anyway, about 2 years ago my parents got me the TSD Mp5 (At the time, WELL Rebrand with some 'enhansments') and was taken apprt for much of its life... Surpriseingly, It came with good internals and 18guage Silicaon wire stocked. Not bad, but not enough to really make me use it..

Well, I watch a movie that was based on the Navy Seals and I was inspired to go back to Mp5s... Not just my Galaxy, but a Full sized Mp5!

Here are some pics of what happened to it...

In this Last picture, You can really see the length of it.. Its so close to a Fulls size Rifle its scarry..

Your saying, "Yeah so what?" right about now.. Well, I swapped out most if not all internals, Reshimmed, regreased, ect.. I also maounted a Rail useing the hole I drilled before (I will explain later) and mounted a really nice Lazer that acctually ended up being on target.

You may have also notaced that nice Silencer.. Its Homemade.. Its ain base is a CYMA CM.023 LPEG Silencer.. No joke. I had it for ages, and spray painted it at one time.. I through out the CM.023, but saved the Silencer for the futur hopeing it would come to use..

The Plastic threads stripped a while ago, so I dug into it the other night when I got the idea of useing it while I was on the can. :D Surpriseingly, The silencer is made of Exclent materials and is surpriseingly think.. Almost 2 mm thick! After 30min of off and on Blow drying to get the massive amound of glue loose, I pryed off the main parts in different pieces..

Next, I dug up my Galaxy Flash hidder ad made use of it. Everyone hates those Fat Orenge flash hidders and thrws them out, but I like them...

Figures its the same outter thickness as the Silencer! Awsome! Here are some pics of the inner workinfs of the Silencer, surpriseingly CYMa made it very complex in the inside...

I drilled holes into the main Silencer tube witch took a very long time... I am still not done, but I dont need complete silence, The Gearbox is still a bit loud because I have yet to swap the motor out. After getting it to fit solidly with the Mp5J flash hidder, It worked like a charm! It fits very snugly and doesnt have very much wobble despite the fact that I still need to Epox it to make it tight. The silncer is also very heavy, witch is find of wierd but good...

I am still trying to find a good foam filler, but some CQB tactical napkins for fine.. I will get some good foam soon..

But, now I have the perfict Quick detatch Silencer that will work with any guns with a Tri-lug flash hidder.. All in all, It was well worth it for about $5 witch I will need to get some Epoxy. All the rest I have at home. :) Al I have to do now is re-paint the silcer ad the Flash hidder!

*Thanks to BravoAlphaRomeo on Youtube for the idea!*

Next, is my Awsome CQB Tactical RIS uber lazer deviseness.. lol

Surpriseingly, This set up was made from a sh**y $5 China Springer that just came with a lot of extras.. Ironicly the extras that came with the gun were better than the springer itself. Basicly, my dad was cool and got me a 9 Pack of cheap China springer set from Evike on Ebay trying to be nice, and it was..

I got two of the springer sets with the lazer, and surpriseingly the lazers are Full metal and very nice. It also came with 2 side rails each that were to be mounted. This game me the idea to mount it onto my Mp5! ;) I had 2 holes drilled in the past to mount my Mp5 Gun cam, witch did work well, but wasnt for me.. The left-over holes were one of the reasons why I didnt use the mp5, but the holes came in use..

I had one hole already drilled, so all I had to do was drill the second and Wham! Instant Low-profile RIS mount. And now I can use any Rail-mounted devise I want and Its very solid. The lazer fit perfictly.

Now, I converted the wire to the back a long time, but only managed to fit 12v Mini packs with woble still in the stock. That wasnt enough...

I managed to fit something bigger in the stock.. What you see there in the stock with the Deans connector is my Monster GP 3000mah Larger battery! lol It was a tight fit, but after fileling and melting, its finally fit. I added some cardboard to the side of the pack and now its Rock solid. The only downfall is that the gun is severly wieghted in the rear now! :-\ I cant really fix it, and I even have a counter wieght in the front of the gun, but it only helps slightly..

Over all, I have spent $5 on this gun to get it where its at.. '

This post has gotten way to long, lol, but Let me know what you guys think.. My next plan is to get a Low-profile Scope mount (All I have now is a wierd High rise mount..) and a good scope. I have a custom Read dot waiting, witch I also took off from the same Cheap springer I mentioned above... ^_^

*Sorry for the Bad pics guys, I took it with a video camera..*

More pics to add later! And a Size comparison!!!

FPS is around 330FPS with a China spring, but I am replaceing the entire Air sealed parts of the gun with better Orings and Teflon tape I bought today.

I already have a Drum mag for my AK (primary) so another drum wouldnt be needed.. lol

Right, My Rail was besicly just on there by 2 small screws and small Hex nuts to keep them to stay in place. Works like a charm!

Yes, *Camo*

*Update*

I got a chance to run down to Home depot and got a bunch of stuff, New O-rings, Teflon tape, Ultra Flat black spray paint, and more.

I forgot to mention the internals, Everyone knows that WELL internals werent the best back then, so I sawpped the gears, Changed the Cylinder, changed the piston head assembly, and added a Mp5k Cylinder head because the stocked one is really bad.. With the teflon mod finished with the Hop-up unit and Cylinder along with changeing out the O-rings, Compression will be perfict!

Size 14 or #14 O-rings from Homedepot are the best BTW, pack of 10 for $2.

it may not be beautiful  ,but I assure you its a very good woodland rifle :)

Aesthetics = 90% of airsofting. Can't blame you for your effort though. Looks like you did good work, but it just doesn't suit me. Then again, I'm a FA-MAS fan, so don't listen to me anyway, heh.

I loled at my self.

That STD in woodland camo looks hideous. But then i hate all mp5 with a vengance, However i can appreciate the skill and time that went into building it and therefore dont despise it as much as a standard one.

now if it was an M16 on the other hand . . .

Cheers , I would never trust the judgement of someone who likes armalites ,& Amy Winehouse anyway. So I won't take it to heart :D
