BigAl
Marushin: Kimber Gold Match It was announced, but now we know that it is actually coming. We are talking about Kimber Gold Match / Cartridge type. So, to the facts: it will be available late April, it uses 6 mm BBs, price will be 24,500 Yen (191.51 Eur), additional magazine 5,000 Yen (39.08 Eur), 5 rounds of cartridges 2,000 Yen (15.63 Eur). Taken from Airsof News EU At last someone does one of the Polymer Framed Kimber's, shame it isn't WA though.
hitmanNo2
But we wouldn't get shell ejecting goodness with WA.
BigAl
Much as I like the idea of shell ejectors i'm skirmishing more know so like my guns practical (no punintended).
Horsem4n
er... 6mm? sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet means it will have a higher capacity. im hoping for 8. i hope aftermarket support pics up for this.
junior
That Mag bumper looks awful. But I guess it's a small price to pay for higher mag capacity (6)
Horsem4n
looks like a double stacker to tell you the truth... how do you know the mag capacity is 6?
BigAl
It is a double stacker, but they don't hold many rounds because of the gas resovoir. It say's 5 in the blurb, so you can probably asume mag holds 5 giving a capacity of 6. Edit: Actually the five is refering to extra shells, but if they sell em in packs of five it probably holds five in the mag.
Horsem4n
nope, the glock 21 holds 6 in its mag and they still sell the shells in packs of 5.
BigAl
Japanese logic.
renegadecow
Cunning way to make you buy 5 magazines and 6 packs of shells to get the least common multiple and have the numbers meet. But less than half the amount of shells in a double stack gun? No thanks. They're better off putting the gas in the shells, have the magazine hold true amount and get their behinds banned because some troll in a Japanese forum would say "I can has gunpowders in thar lolz". fiddlesticks4220
yeah lets keep that talk on the DOWN LOW. lol
somegirls
As nice as it is, 3€ for one shell is way to pricy.
ED-SKaR
banned because some troll in a Japanese forum would say "I can has gunpowders in thar lolz". You do know that is not what happend, right? They got banned because the style of technology has been illegal in many countries for ages, not because some internets dood went "omg" Nice to see variaty going into the shell ejecting idea, but why the silly mag cap. Should have gone for a classic 1911 with a 7 round mag.
BigAl
A single stack would probably only hold two or three rounds.
junior
I know this will fall on def ears (or blind eyes), but enough Glocks and 1911's already *suitcase*! Why not make a shell ejecting M&P.45, or XD or some other cool pistol that looks natural with a double stack mag. Anyway at least this one is 6mm...
BigAl
They should make that MP7 and UMP they threatened a few years ago. Especially if they could make it work with or withou shells so it coulds be skirmishable! Wish TM would re release their shell ejecting MP5 aswell.
Horsem4n
yeah, the shells are expencive. but, someone will eventually make cheaper shells. RA-tech finally made cheaper shells for the Glock 21.
hitmanNo2
Redwolf say capacity is 12+1. Not too bad.
Horsem4n
awesome.
PMMJKL
Meanwhile Clarence Lai is hard at work creating a metal slide for this.... I might just pick it up.
BigAl
12+1 and a AS Slide, Hmm. More expense coming my way!
Horsem4n
only if someone would make cheap *albatross* plastic shells in bulk... you have no clue how many custom shops and manufacturers think its a lost cause.
RacingManiac
It'll be funny to use one of these at an airsoft IPSC or something....you'll be chasing casing afterward..... looks fun though...
