crackisbad
Wow, I actually want to buy a Hi-capa just so I can use this. Maybe I can use the slide on my 1911 and sell the frame off .....
Crimson
$475 is a lot though if only they were cheeper http://www.prog4.com/db/product-show.asp?refno=AR1582
greg
$475 is a lot though if only they were cheeper http://www.prog4.com/db/product-show.asp?refno=AR1582 Sweet geez, that's bundles too much cash for an airsoft slide,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm out! Imagine how gutted you would be if it doesn't fit or cycle right! Let' face it, they rarely do, especially on Maruis. Greg.
luvs2shoot
Imagine how gutted you would be if it doesn't fit or cycle right! Let' face it, they rarely do, especially on Maruis. Wut? Having personally owned around 10 high end/ custom tuned Marui based race pistols and 1911's, i haven't had any problems with the slide not cycling/ improper cycling. Then again, I never tuned any of them. I definitely didn't trust myself doing that sort of work. I love them so much that my main secondary is the TM Marui Hi Capa. -Shin ps: the kit looks AWESOME - someone on trader's airsoft has one fully assembled
Furey
you get what you pay for. if the tolerances are very narrow and it operates as nice as it looks, $475 is probably about right. im sure we've all had experience with cheap 'upgrades'
Crimson
i paid over £400 for shooters design comp set and guess what it needed insane tuning, the only person who was qualified to tune it was clarence lei, he said he would tune it in a year and 2 months as thats his waiting list See pictures here: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...p;#entry1731482 as far as i know shooters design are one of the best out there
RacingManiac
ProG4 stuff is better...the Limcat I got from them literally goes together and it shoots, I just sanded and rail and BBU to make it smoother....aside from other tuning that I do to make the pistol myown. The whole slide set and comp and barrel is from them, with their BBU, I did not buy the frame as a set but acquired at a different time, but they were the maker. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...i&img=11911 Their earlier kit had a problem with the outer barrel design, but has long been fixed. $475 is about par for one of the full kit with frame and comp included. And monolithic rail frame from them(only one that makes these frames, badged as AS and others) costs over $200 along, with matching slide and steel barrel and compensator and you are looking about that price.
