  1. My Asahi M60 is one of the best skirmish guns you can get. The range with a LRB is silly, and by that I mean that I loss sight of the bb well before it gets to it's maximum range. The Sun Project/Daytonagun guns are another version that is very skirmish-able, in my opinion better than the current gas in the mag style GBBr's You do have to put up with the gas bottle, but I got over it fairly quickly once playing. I have tried to use a non-LRB Jac M16, and that was pretty awful, it didn't help that the rof was so high it was like a lazer and it had almost no range.
  2. Can't seem to edit, but here is my old (and long sold) Escort MP5 It had a Daytonagun bolt Here is my Asahi M60, fitted with a LRB, this gun has awesome range Asahi M60e3
  3. This is a M4 CQB that I put together. It's had a little work done on it, both externally and internally. Haven't really used it yet
  4. Padding is pretty good, much better than those cheap ACM masks, and about on par with the Cactus Hobbies masks. You can wear it most of the day without much dis-comfort.
  5. Just finished the externals on my latest M4 so I thought I'd share
  6. Small update as I’ve now skirmished with this mask. Overall it was very good, it did it’s job very well. It was safe and the vision from the mask was great. I did find it slightly tighter on the face than my Cactus hobbies masks, but that might just be this one. Also I found that the back strap wasn’t as conformable as the Cactus Hobbies version, the Rlux is very stiff at the back of the head and it took me some messing about to get it in a comfortable place before I could skirmish. I still think that the overall quality is slightly lower than the Cactus hobbies masks, and if Rlux and
  7. I haven’t seen any other reviews of these masks so since I’ve just bought one I thought I’d share my thoughts. First off a little about my thoughts on masks. I have been playing airsoft for quite a while, and ever since I started playing I have always wore a full face mask, I have seen too many teeth shot out for me to risk anything. I started with a basic face mask, these were OK but a little boring, and needed to be replaced ever year or two. A few years ago, when I was looking for a replacement, I discovered the Cactus Hobbies Army of Two mask. I ordered one of these masks, and they hav
  8. Quick question, I've just traded for a WE Scar, and it works fine, but there is one small problem. When I manually pull the bold handle back it's very stiff, like something is binding. It works fine when it shoots, it's just when you pull the handle manually. Can anyone please help?
  9. Here is my latest AR15 build, not even close to being finished yet, but this is so far....
  10. Here are a few pictures, still very much getting use to it. I keep messing up with the range finder, I keep cutting off the picture, at least I know for next time.
  11. Very nice pictures on here, very much like ChrisWPA's. I'm not a very good photographer, but I do like playing about. I took some pictures at a local classic car event, I'll dig them out when I get home. I'm starting to use my dad's Lieca M8 with a 28mm lense, still very new to it, and I'm at the bottom of the learning curve.
  12. Thansk for the update, I've been thinking about buying one for a while, but still not sure. Might wait a bit longer, to see what other issues come up. Is it any more work that getting a GBB M4 working right?
  13. The Car15 and the Gas M16 are both Sun Projects, the other M16 in the last photo is G&P. I do have a Jac M16VN, with a LRB installed, with quite a few mags for it. Don't use it as much as I should, really need to dust this one off and start using it again.
  14. My Car15, used it for the first time in ages on Sunday, and remembered how great it is. With a M16a1
  15. Here my WA Para Ordnance that I've painted to make it look nicer. I've painted the slide to match the grips since these picture where taken, looks even better now.
  16. It looks like it takes some force, Here is full pictures, done by Ironmonkey from CA.net http://www.classicairsoft.org/forum/viewto...=73&t=12687
  17. Hello, There is a full takedown guide on Classicairsoft, if you are not a member yet I would suggest that you join their ASAP, as it's the best resource for all types of classic airsoft guns. http://classicairsoft.org/forum/viewtopic....=50&t=11222 I had to shave a little from my mags. I took some material off the mag where it engages the mag catch. You should be able to see it when you insert the mag into the gun, see how much you will need to take off. The last point, about fps, I can help you with. On the Escort style guns, the max fps is controlled by the spring, no
  18. Yes, it's the same landrover that Catman and Maddog mount the M2 that they made. It means that the M2 and the minigun can be used in the same games, but one of them has to be static (at the moment, might change soon ) Yes, it's been played around with internally, it does have a different motor in it. At one point it had a brushless motor, but was doing about 150rps, it was a bit silly. It's got a more standard motor inside now, still pushing out a really high rof. It's had a few other mods done by the boys too.
  19. A Land Rover, will dig out a picture of it mounted on top.
  20. Some of my stuff Sun Projects M4 with Daytonagun internals Sun Projects Car15, also got some Daytonagun internals Sun Projects M16 VN Style, with loads of real steel parts and full steel daytonagun internals (Car15 and AEG also in picture) Daytonagun Limited edition AK, using Real Sword Type 56 body P3 Minigun, a few ( ) custom parts from Catman and Maddog See what else I can find to post, and get some better pictures.
  21. Absolutely beautiful, good to see that Justin has continued to improve the design, and yes, it’s more than a little cheaper than my version. My one is full steal internals too It was one of the 20 limited edition full steel versions that Justin did (it’s number 1 of 20) Looking forward to seeing how the new hopup works, I also see he has improved on the collar again, makes it even less likely to slip. Go to say that I love my version. It just works so well, it’s been the most reliable airsoft gun I’ve ever had. It’s also great fun to fire too, with a loud bark and a rhythm that cou
  22. Hi mate, Not sure if I can answer this question, but I'll do my best. The trigger is connected to a airswitch, I'm pretty sure it's the same style as the MP5. I can only tell you my results but I've not had any problems, and I've also not seen anyone else have a problem with the trigger. In fact the only problems I've heard about is with the donner gun, or the DBoys donner gun, a problem with the front site, but with the real sword I've not had any probelms, it's as solid as a rock.
