  1. Haha, thanks Vic. Here's 2 more pics of the suppressor by itself.
  2. Haha, wow, that's hardcore! Using a blow torch is a going too far for me though, lol. Thanks though!
  3. Woa, nice work for a first at multicam! As for an alternative for Medium brown (since they're so hard to find), you could try Equestrian or Saddle Brown. -- Finished painting my suppressor. I used reference photos to get the burned look at the tip of the suppressor.
  4. Finished the suppressor for the M4 (had thread issues, fixed now), and gave it a 'burned' look.
  5. All the wear this time is subtle, as they're natural. Only thing that was artificially induced was the home-made suppressor. I painted it to make it look burned/heated from repeated firing. I used reference photos of actual suppressor to help me this time.
  6. Both guns are sporting my home-made suppressor. I painted it to give it the burnt/heated look. I used reference photos of actual suppressors to help me out this time.
  7. Very nice...but the SPR's crying for some nice sniper optics!
  8. Haha, yea...I'm not really sure. Doesn't look like the Krylong Camo paints were used for that one. Best bet would be apple green, medium brown, and maybe medium green? I don't see any Olive Drab in that particular paint job, but the lighting could be off.
  9. The bottom G36C's mostly Krylon Camo Khaki and Dark Brown.
  10. Yep, my thoughts exactly. Beautiful carbine though.
  11. Haha, much better. Once the natural starts setting in to provide the contrasts, it'll look even better!
  12. Looks like leeches on the guns...which is actually original. I can't call that wear exactly, but the spots on there do have some camo effectiveness (almost) since it serves as a contrast.
  13. Fin, you have the case of "excellent paint work, but cheap paint-look." Hit it with a coat of Flat clear coat, and it'll be ace!
  14. Haha, sounds like a plan. When you do get the barrel mounted 203...post more of those beautiful pictures you take!
  15. What bothers me more is how people use the pictures of the deceased (mainly in the SEAL thread) as mainly reference photos for gears instead. The picture above at least is an attempt at being 'respectful,' I would hope. Render, beautiful M4....but it cries for a barrel mounted M203 instead of the RIS mounted version. I'm loving the gun either way though.
  16. Wow....based on the pictures...if it wasn't for the PTW stock on there and the lack of trademarks, I could have been fooled into thinking it was an actual M4A1
  17. Very nice. If it wasn't for the LMT BUIS, that configuration could have passed off as a GAU 5 styled carbine. Is the upper going to G&P based also?
  18. Lightest setup. Holster for the 1911's behind my right arm in the picture.
  19. Nice froob, what did you do to get the scratched look?
  20. Sheesh, it's sometimes (or often) impossible to tell if your AKs are real or not in your pictures. Definitely a win in my book.
  21. Oooh ok, that answered it for me, thanks again! Froob, very nice, got an overall picture of the gun?
  22. Thanks for the info! I'm wondering if it could be modified for a quick sliding field strip (ie: CA and G&P) body. I modified my old SRC metal receiver (similar to older guarder bodies) to do that after I installed it on my TM. It now slides open apart like the CA and G&P bodies, and makes it sooo much easier for inner barrel length swap and general maintenance.
