  1. Hey guys, what is the thread on the flash hider? Cheers.
  2. My RA tech hop unit arrived today. 3 days after I paid for it! I still don't have an M4 though.
  3. OK, so I have had this gun for ages but it has been only half built while I waited for some parts and the time I needed to get this little job done. I have already mentioned that I have the proud RAS for the 552 on my gun which leaves only enough room for a mini battery and nothing else inside (apart from the potential to fit a crane stock). When I built the 556 the first time I noticed that there were indices on the selector for Safe, Semi, Burst and Auto so I decided to set it up to have a burst facility. Originally I had a TM Sig 550 burst controller in the battery compartment o
  4. Yup, it was awesome for a whole game. I have a plan but I need some big machine tools.
  5. Titleist, can you do some pics of the receiver/barrel junction now that it is broken so I can get a feel for the way the parts go together? I briefly toyed with the idea of getting an AS one just to see the difference but I'm not sure I can be bothered. I suspect he just removed the inner barrel and put a machined ally tube in the outer barrel to bring the inner diameter down to the same and the outer diameter of the shells. That sucks though, depending on what is broken I may be able to get the spares you need at close to economical repair territory.
  6. It would be ten times easier if you had the complete upper receiver and just stuck the gearbox and grip on whichever one you wanted.
  7. I think we are talking about two different sets of pins. I don't mean the ones that go in next to the mag tube. Once you get it down as far as you have at this point, with the trigger mech out look up into the body of the gun and just to the rear of the breech in the top of the receiver are two circles, they could be pins and they are pretty big, 8 or 9mm in diameter. I think they have something to do with it.
  8. The action bars are attached to the bolt and I can't get the barrel, bolt or action bars out of mine. So far, it has defeated me. I think it is something to do with what looks like two pins holding the breach into the receiver, I can't work out how to get them out, they have a huge diameter so I am considering epoxying a rod to one and pulling it out. I just don't want to destroy it. On another note, I don't have any slop in my action.
  9. If your after market fore grip fits let me know which it is please titleist. Mine didn't.
  10. Thanks everyone, I got a nice essay over pm from RSP1 too, thanks. Good call on the 21, I think that is the way to go, the Marui G17 slide is reportedly just a little but too big and fits in a 21/22 holster so the dimensions might be closer to the 21 anyway. I will probably go for a Marui, I have a KSC MK23 and although it is a beast (as 380 kit fitted) the hop is just awful. I will chuck a Guarder frame on (not much point buying the gun in the first place eh?) and stick some choice upgrades in it. I'll have to wait until my 1911 Coltonics is done and I am toying with the idea of
  11. Vicious, and other glock fans. I have been changing the make up of my collection recently and getting rid of a lot of stock and low quality guns and upgranding my faves. I sold a Marui G18C, a 23F and a 26C (both plastic) a while ago and since then I have been with out a Glock. I have an SD KSC MK23, two SD Detonics Combat masters, a Prime Tanaka MKIII, A Prime P226, a Prime M4013 and I am working on a Hybrid Marui metal 1911 thing. I've got a VP70 coming too that I'm going to metal up. So you see I am moving in the "premium" direction, Until today I was trying to decide wheth
  12. Yeah, sure but I always prefer to use superglue if I might want to undo what I have done at some point. I still can't work out how to get the thing totally stripped, it's getting on my nerves.
  13. It is a little problem. You don't notice it unless you are looking for it. I put a dab of superglue on it and it sorted it right out. It is the barrel and the mag tube that wobble, the whole thing where it meets the receiver.
  14. I have Maruzen and Tanaka shotties. I love the shell ejecting-ness but I worry about loosing the shells. The Tanaka is really nice. The paint is rubbish but the trigger is lovely and so far I have fitted RS stock, sling loops and safety to it. I was a but peeved about the grip not fitting but I have used it in a cqb environment (with solid stock and 18" barrel) and it was just awesome. The action is much nicer than the maruzen but the fore grip is a bit wobbly (is it like that on the RS? I have only fire semi auto shotguns). I can forsee some problems, if something goes wro
  15. I have got a real steel remington LEO top folder for my Green 18" scattergun. A word of warning: I bought a real steel railed foregrip for my shotty and it doesn't fit, inner diameter is much too small.
  16. Look at the point where the stock joins the receiver. It's one piece. Name an airsoft gun that has a one piece receiver/stock. No religious bashing, no mater how insignificant the jibe you're bound to nark someone off.- Caz
  17. But you can't smash someone's skull by hitting them with a sock full of paper money. I love coins.
  18. I did the same thing with copper plumbing pipe. The other thing you can do (since you only have a couple of shells) is to pull the shell apart and pull the inside part out, you can then prevent it from firing by putting it on the edge of a table while you fill it.
  19. Yeah, your feet pop out of the SPuDs and you smash your wedding tackle off the top tube and say "jozixskiy".
  20. The mechanism in the AS type shell is very different, they are much more like a mini moscart. You might have better luck with one of them. For example. My 870 scattergun will fire the normal shells on green but not red but it will fire an AS one on red and on ungegulated CO2 (which gives 720fps by the way) *edit* DON'T fill your AS shells with CO2, I filled two and the second one exploded, I am VERY glad I had safety specs on.
  21. Looks enough like a Remington 7615 to be acceptable to me, people are always slapping silencers on .223s Perhaps you could make the correct magwell donut? Then it would be a true slide action rifle.
