  1. If you don't want the groove-less bolt then I can surely take it off your hands. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the bolt without the groove was only made for the MK1 CAM870, and only for the first one or two batches? After that they swapped over to bolts with the groove cut. Plus there was a limited run of steel bolt without the groove made by... some small manufacturer... I can't recall their name. Hope that answers your question. Otherwise you can ask us to delve further into this particular design feature.
  2. That is indeed lovely work, and something I hope to replicate myself in the near future. How is the fitment of the Guarder frame to the SureFire 332/632? I've hard that it is far worse than the PGC/ProWin kits, but I've never had any experience with either kit. If you could upload pictures of the modification required, that would be a big help. I'd rather modify the fram than the light, but progress is progress... @PureSilver I might just have a spare one of those in my collection. Otherwise there's one up on eBay, if memory serves.
  3. Got a spot of help from NonEx, and have come to the conclusion that I need to invest in a MapleLeaf barrel. Grinding down the bridge to allow for VSR rubbers seems like a bad idea to me.
  4. I've got a question for the hive-mind, since I have failed to ascertain the information myself: Just purchased a RA-Tech barrel for my open-bolt WE M4, and since it's RA-Tech the barrel is bridged on the end meant for the hop-up housing: http://en.ratech.com.tw/english/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=116:rag-we-035&catid=27:ra-gas-series&Itemid=119 The question at hand is: Which rubber fits this unholy apperition? MapleLeaf VSR-rubber was a no-go, and the MapleLeaf Decepticons rubber didn't work either. The seller was
  5. Many reasons, I guess. First off the Dominator is wrong on many areas. The ejection port, the weird cramped barrel... that was the first thing that put me off that platform. And also, for me, it's the fact that it is a Tanaka clone. Say what you want about the Tanaka shotguns. They look great, they have lots of metal components, but they are really more showpieces than actual skirmish guns. Mine underwent several reparations before I sold it on, and the inner barrel design coupled with limited BB's is really a let down for me. The reach may increase slightly over an APS shotgun, but the adde
  6. Just tried this on my double-feeding 14-inch SWAT, and it works great! I just held the shell latch arm with two pliers and bent it to submission. Would not recommend that method to anyone else, since it is rather hit-or-miss, but I was lucky. And it does require some serious effort to bend the arm...
  7. Here's another question for the hive-mind: During the 1980's / early 90's there was a company in the US which made a OC pepper spray attachment for Beretta M92-style handguns (and other handgun models) so one could combine less-lethal force with deadly force all in one platform (yes, fantastic idea and not at all risk of confusion, I know...). The company's name is unknown to me, however it is known that Safariland made a series holsters for this exact combination (for instance the 6280-732-62). So if anyone knows the name of the company that made the OC add-on, or the model name / product nam
  8. That Mafioso is indeed a thing of much beautility! I would buy one in a heartbeat as soon as finance allows it. Especially the new 2017 version. Does Mafioso take on custom requests by any chance? If one, for example, would like a TLE Custom II slide instead of the LAPD slide, so it better matches ones Sheriff gear?

My google-fu is not quite up to par, so I've decided to ask the kind hive-mind here on Arnies: If one needs a replacement slide stop for a KSC M945, where would one look? Preferably two, if one where to loose it again.
  10. Wait... doesn't the PPS side saddle have the same dimensions as the shell catcher? Can't you just modify the side saddle with a regular 5mm drill bit for metal? The PPS Shell catcher doesn't sit 100% dead center on the APS pins, but when tightening the screws it works very well.
  11. That is just lovely! Now I must do something similar myself. Though I did make a Masterkey out of a Marushin M500 and a G&P Masterkey kit, now I need another one...
  12. Lookin' good NonEx. So you're going to copy the Special Weapons And Plastic approach and adjust the hole? I was looking at a Mesa Tac. 8 round side saddle myself, but after measuring and mocking up I realized I would be unable to fit my GG&G rear sling mount with the side saddle installed, which is a bummer: Looking at the SWAP video I also noticed that you technically don't need to move one of the holes the entire distance, especially on a Mesa Tac 4-round side saddle which has quite thin walls round the mounting holes. You could just move each hole half the distance. But on these 6
  13. Yeah... some sort of pixel camo that's not M90. I'm no expert on the subject. Saw the Silverback laser grip on Boom, and they're not exactly what I'm looking for, but they'll do in a pinch. And I'm not in a hurry to finish my project, as usual. What kind of grips did you find on eBay? If they're diamond-cut AlumaGrips, that could absolutely work. http://i41.tinypic.com/izyjjq.jpg
  14. I've been looking in all places I could think of, but alas my Google-fu is sub par on this topic, so I must ask here: Does anybody know where I can get hold of some Marui Foliage Warrior grips? Are they available separately as a spare part, or must I find used ones? Similar Marpat camo 1911 grips could work though.
  15. So... you're a lead farmer now?
  16. Has anyone got any concrete information on which shells actually works with the 715? I recently went into a local store and tried the copper tipped shells for Dan Wesson revolvers, but they interfered with the rotation of the cylinder. They do, however, work with the old, horribly ugly ASG Dan Wessons. Will the new Gun Heaven silver tipped shells work with the 715? If so: is there anyway of getting hold of the copper tip as a separate item for that realistic look?
  17. Got me a Dan Wesson 715 a while back: And to boot, of-course, a Bianchi 5BHL holster: And a Don Hume D406 Belt slide: Some decorative shells: HKS 10-A speedloaders for the 357 Dan Wesson (works excellently with the airsoft version): Complete setup with Safariland belt and Safariland J86 350-2 Speedloader pouch:
  18. That is one nice piece of kit. Just one question though on the new WE M9's: functional safety/decocker, yea or ney?
  19. No. Real Steel Glock mag plates won't work on KWA/KSC. Only on Stark Arms (with slight modification) as far as I know.
  20. My team mate has an AOW, and I've done a few modifications on it, but I'm a bit uncertain about what you're asking for... Regarding the foregrip/forearm: It will be difficult, to say the least, to mount a regular CAM870 forearm on an AOW, given the difference in length. And if you want to add a longer mag tube in order to accommodate it anyways, you're going to need a longer barrel as well, so why not go for the Special Forces / Zombie Hunter version from the get-go? As you can see from the pictures, the AOW action arms lacks the mounting tube for the actual forend, since the folding grip
  21. Just to post a few pics of my APS's: My first CAM870 on top, with real steal Remington Police forend and stock. Down low is my new one. Quickly added my phatty-RS SureFire Dedicated Shotgun Forend (DSF-870) and GG&G 1084. Also want a GG&G 1129, but that required some modification to fit the APS receiver: Not just good, but good enough! Installed my SpeedFeed Mk I: And a Blackhawk universal shotgun sling: Complete kit list: - APS CAM870 - SureFire DSF-870 - GG&G 1129 (modded to fit) - GG&G 1084 - SpeedFeed Mk I stock - BlackH
  22. APS CAM870, out of the box: With a SpeedFeed stock and forend installed: Current configuration with Remington Police furniture: Slight modification was needed in order for the stock to fit: Sheriff impression: Future plans: - SureFire DSF-870 - GG&G front & rear sling mounts - Re-install SpeedFeed furniture.
  23. Just finished ye olde boom-stick. This will actually be the final configuration of the piece. I'm rather proud. Complete kitlist (front to back): - Marushin Mossberg M500, 6mm version. - SureFire 623FA forend. - Advanced Technologies Inc. DeLuxe heat shield. - GG&G Mossberg 500/590 receiver mount sling plate. - SpeedFeed Mk I stock.
  24. Thread needs moar old school... So I got this: SureFire 613R Complete with all parts, etc. Installed on my KWG Beretta M9 (KSC M9 System 7 clone): And from the other side: Just need to find a comfortable angle to mount the pressure pad. But if I fail, I've got a spare slimline grip mounted pressure switch which I can solder onto the unit. I've also got a SureFire 633R on the way. Piccys will be up asap.
  25. Is that the again-in-stock clone 6mm shotty? How is it? Where did you buy it? Really want to get one for a project of mine, so if you have a Marushin Mossy and could compare them, that would be great!
