I was just wondering how the super blackhawk actually performs? Obviously with individual shells it's not great on ammo capacity or reload time but in terms of power and accuracy how good is it? I really like it in terms of appearance, particularly in black with a 7.5" barrel, I know the tanaka super redhawk would be a lot more practical but it just isn't as pretty!

I'd already figured I'd need the receiver and stock but you're saying that you actually can't get the CYMA folding stock compatible receiver and stock as spare parts? I take it you need to mod the CYMA guts as well as the DBoys stuff to get it to fit? Also, feel free to PM me info rather than have me spam this thread!

Ok, how are the CYMA solid side folding stocks? Also where to get and how much?

A quik enquirey (yes I've searched online and on the forums); I want to fit my CYMA CMO31 with a 74m style folding stock and reciever but I'm not sure what would fit, what would be of fairly good quality but not horribly expensive (it's a CYMA, I'm not fitting an inokatsu kit, that would just be dumb....) Cheers in advance! P.S. A non-scamming supplier would also be good, saw a site that did lots of AK kits but they got a bad write up on actually supplying the stuff...

I've got some plum AK-74 midcaps from MAG for my CYMA CM-031 and they work a treat, absolutly no feed problems and they look pretty sweet in a black 74!

I do like the AN-94 but then I like peculior guns. It would be a complete pain to build, even for a proper company, as stated the mag goes in at a sloped angle (this is because if the complex 2-round burst mechanism), the 2 round burst feature fires at about 1800rpm, on full auto it fires 2 rounds at that high rate then drops down to about 600rpm (this would be very hard since you'd need a sudden gear change in an AEG which would also mean either having a very powerful motor you then geared down (wasteful on juice) of have a less powerful motor that had to occasionally drive the piston at a ve

Check the pics, it costs near £1000 (without a mag) and yet it lacks any of the indentations on the receiver of the real things, also I've heard the outer barrel is a little crappy, for that kind of money I'd want something pretty damn good, not an approximation...

A PKM would indeed rule but I'm thinking it would cost a least a quarter of your soul, plus, you know, a bunch of money. I can see a polly RPK 74 being released just because RPK 47s are already around and like you say, it's not as huge modification of parts. Plus with all these AK 74 models being released it at least seems somewhat logical and a lot more user friendly than a hoofing great PKM (M60s after all, never really got off the ground in a big way due to huge size and expense though I can imagine at least one company making one). Could you please attempt to use decent grammar. While I agree that a lot of the AK pedantry going on here is pretty extreme you don't do yourself any favours by putting full stops (periods) in the middle of your sentances. I don't want to come across as a grammer fascist but on a public boards we should all attempt to keep some semblance of conforming to the rules of grammer and spelling. As for this ongoing debate, people's intolerance of "RIS raped AKs" is getting pretty sad and fairly insulting. Calling someone "an evil rapist" in jest is frankly incredably rude.
