  1. I hope it's easier to open up than the real one. Right royal pain in the *albartroth*. Although not many A2's have them on, so fortunatly you don't see many of them.
  2. Yep, as the old saying goes. Jack of all trades, master of none.
  3. Easy, I just click on the start menu, tpye what I want in to the search block, hit return and whatever program I want runs. The joys of vista. Plus, I really hate having loads of stuff all over the desktop, it looks untidy. I always keep my actualy desk tidy so why act any different with the one on my PC.
  4. Just like Darkchild said, things really have changed. The RAF has always been at least a year or two behind the army when it comes to issue kit, and relaxing rules regarding it's use. And we've been pretty much using what the hell we like on ops and on unit (slightly more strictly) for about 2 years now. For example, I binned my issue boots ages ago and now use either magnums or the newer pro-boots, also binned the cs 95 gloves and use the Hatch "operators" gloves in green instead and a modified SAS smock in 95 patt from SOF. Same goes for vests and webbing, I use arktis vest and my PL
  5. Here's mine. Bit boring at the moment, need to find a good background and get rid of the standard one.
  6. Best looking LMG I have ever seen. Am I right in thinking it's the Star version? What have you done to it, and where did you get the mk1 handguards and SUSAT rail from. Looking to do the exact same thing myself when I eventually get my LMG.
  7. Quoted for truth The exact reason I've voluteered for Afghan, Iraq is just stupid now.

    ICS Hop-up

I know it's in the wrong please but what the hell. The stock ICS hop rubber isn't all that good tbh, I replaced mine with a systema rubber and haven't look back since. A new rubber is cheap as chips so you can't go wrong.
  9. My god I'm fat and unbeliveably white in those pics. OMFG, right hind w/b pouch undone, noooooooooooo.
  10. LOL, yeah, fair one. Although I'd much rather have 2 pillows and a couple of cushions in it most of the time. Oh, doc, while i remember. Have you still got those pics you took of my kit at last years AG lying around?
  11. Yeah, pinch down the front, stop you looking like a fisherman. I personally trim about an inch off the brim as well. Stop it getting in the way of your sights, but that's just a personal thing. I do have to say though, I actually think you have as much (if not more) kit than I do. You may have an addiction.
  12. Doc, can I just ask. How is it you have a desert pat vest, and most of us in the forces don't? It's a conpiricy a tell you. Other than that, nicely done. I'd have gone for a 30l patrol pack rather than a bergen mind you. Oh and sort out that bush hat. You look like a gimp.
  13. ICS M4 with Prime crane stock, King Arms Aimpoint & G&G 6P Tac light.
  14. OMFG, it's a bush with a gun. Quick, run away!
  15. Oi gimme my weapon back. Very nice job Doc. Looks good. The only thing I could suggest is a bit of wear added on and around the flash eliminator (it always ends up near enough silver) and a few scratches on the barrel. The only thing that lets it down now are the cocking handle and trigger, but theres not a lot you can do about that really. Good job mate.
  16. Definatly. It'd certainly make arnies BF2 games easier if we had our own TS server. It'd be a whole new way to abuse Havoc as well. Which is always a plus. Although on the other side, Lance_Jackass would have another way of asking endless questions.
  17. My work desktop. It's so exciting, really it is.
  18. Me niether. I do agree, another mod or two on irc would only be a good thing.
  19. No mate not a firefighter, although I do have a few mates who are. Supply type myself. You've managed confuse me with science there, you could have just said wet stuff come out of pointy end and fire goes out. That pic is one of the trucks at my old base (Waddington), have no idea about the technical stuff but they are large enough to handle E-3D's (that's what's based at Waddington). Not that they ever get used mind you, most RAF firefighters will never a see a fire outside of training. And even when one of the barrack blocks at waddo caught fire for real, it took them 10mins
  20. That looks a bit small for an airfield fire truck mate. Not taking the smeg, I'm being serious. It could just be the pic makingit appear small mind you. Ours all have 6 wheels and are simply mahusive.
