  1. Question for everyone. Anyone else having issues with their hopup units? The only buckings that i can get to work in the newer scar L's are the stock VFC buckings. Every other bucking that ive tried has been too thick for the hopup unit and it ends up bunching or stretching the lips so that the gun double feeds something fierce.
  2. Eye relief on most acog models is 1.5 inches which is nothing. You basically have to have your eye shoved up next to the objective in order to see through the scope.
  3. Try collapsing the stock a little bit and tucking your elbow? Try centering the gun a little bit more on the pectoral muscle instead of the shoulder. My girlfriend has this same issue with m4's and no matter what i try and do i just cannot get the gun to fit her "properly". Still doesnt keep her from killing anything that walks.
  4. But it IS an ar15 replica and there ARE proper ways to do things based upon years of experience and practice. If it works for you, more power to you.
  5. Erm, how do you aim with that thing? NOSE TO CHARGING HANDLE!
  6. Its been out for at least a week now. For some of the regions closer to HK, customers could have received their order already. Para, i agree, the sight picture is great up there but again, its a front heavy bish! If you want to get around the issue of having a rearward mounted VFG try a TD stubby. It allows you to reload normally even with the grip mounted as far back as possible.
  7. Man, i shudder to think of how heavy that damn AK is with the eotech up front. I just couldnt bring myself to attach mine, added way too much weight.
  8. In theory this type of rifle has been on my list of desired guns for years now. Its basically everything that i want in an airsoft gun. The problem is that in practice, i feel as though the WA is not QUITE there. I am waiting before i purchase one to see what kind of parts become available in the coming months. If there is a steady supply of replacement and reinforced parts then you will bet your *albatross* im going to jump on the bandwagon. Good review WUP, well written and shows off the flaws and strengths of the rifle rather well.
  9. It doesnt, im 99% sure thats a real AK... King arms makes a semi similar grip for AK's but not quite.
  10. Anyone got an email address for the creator of these things in the phillipines? Id really like to inquire about custom mask designs.
  11. Alot of shooters are enjoying a forward mounted vertical foregrip. It helps them drive the rifle a bit better than a foregrip mounted closer to the magwell. If your arms are long enough then there's no reason why you cant still pull a nose to charging handle. Good looking ar15's guys.
  12. Nevermind, i got it. Took a butane torch and a ###### ton of elbow grease.
  13. I read snorkelmans post and im having a *badgeress* of a time removing the INNER thread adapter for the muzzle break. Can someone tell me which way im supposed to be removing this? I removed the set screw and i still cant get it to budge.
  14. Fuses are put into place to prevent the retards from cooking their guns/batteries. If you have half or even a quarter of a brain you should know that if the gun goes click and not boom you dont keep pulling the trigger. Remove the fuse and expect to pick up 1 to 2 rounds per second.
  15. Its a great rig, its also cheap as balls so why not?
  16. Ok shroom...so i was off a....bit.
  17. They're not bad per say but the quality of the finish is much and i mean much better on the VFC or RMW kits for discerning owners that actually care about how their guns look.
  18. Shroom, what brand of RPK is that? Inokatsu?
  19. Its all good, ive already replaced the parts and its back to normal for the ak47. One thing that i will say is that it was my own fault. I normally check those kinds of things but i figured VFC would have done it for me at the factory. In my efforts to leave the gun as stock as possible for testing purposes i ended up signing my guns death certificate lol. Ah well. One thing that i will say is that besides the fact that i had this catastrophic failure the piston itself, ie on the parts that had "normal" wear on them seemed like it was holding up nicely. I will say that the an
  20. Utty, thats not "lumpy" paint, those marks or "lumps" are supposed to be there. Im not entirely sure what they are but they're present on my VFC and also on the real AK's ive seen.
  21. Snorkelman, how long is the outer barrel? 16 inches versus an ak47's full length 18? EDIT: Nevermind, got the two models confused, the full stock has a shorter outer barrel, the folder does not.
  22. If you dont mind me asking, why inokatsu versus VFC?
  23. Unscrew your pistol grip and you will be able to see the bevel gear bearings/bushings. Let us know.
  24. Dont you think you should get that thing downgraded? Using heavier weight ammunition isnt going to prevent you from hurting someone with it. Is cyma still using nylon bushings?
  25. Some more findings from todays skirmish. 1. The blowback must be used with a 9.6 volt battery otherwise you will get lockups. Some stupidly good quality 8.4's will run it just fine but a 9.6 volt is recommended. Without the blowback enabled i would NOT use this gun on a 9.6 volt battery. The rate of fire is just plain stupid. 2. The second you get your gun i would STRONGLY suggest you locktight the piston head screw. I destroyed my gun today after the piston head either shattered the piston or the piston head screw backed out. The entire piston is in pieces, the piston head lo
