LCT AIMS, accept no substitute. RealSword is awesome but only when model works for loadout(trying to use dremel on a steel rifle is a pain; putting AKM parts, which require smaller outerdiameter barrel, is also a pain, stock angle is that of AK47...etc.).

Folding stock TM-style bodies are not so great anyway. Not to mention not even CA makes a foldingstock AK with potmetal body(potmetal folding stock bodies seemed to be a Cyma exclusive). You can either hope to find a boneyard CM035 somewhere or just do the best thing: Best thing to do is to get LCT kit and forget about those cheap potmetal/solid wood.

MAG is not so easy to put into RS mag because it is basically two halves of plastic for both externals and internals.

APS makes a version of AKs-74u without the side mount. However, the selector position is not correct... You are not supposed to blue your AKs-74u anyways. Glossy paint for win.

When you upgrade...most of the time those fitment/quality/whatever becomes irrelevant.

Ver 2009 = more realistic frontend takedown(very similar to real steel), correct rear sight...etc.

It is a wallhanger; and it is more well-made than TM externally. More than enough reason to buy one.

VFC(and Dboys Ak74) has an adaptor on the front sight block. Front sight block itself is 14mm threaded as far as I can tell; but the adaptor puts it at 24mm. Kind of stupid to have; it is not like I will ever throw anything else onto the threads.

At least that is more steel(?) on the WE. Unfortunately, the PMC AKM has about as much potmetal part as a Cyma...(aluminum barrel this time...).

This. Why people go to such length to install extra metal onto the front/top of the rifle and then install optics for extra weight is beyond comprehension. When they could simply use a siderail-mounted optics or even a adaptor while leaving the 20mm rail on top of the handguard for their 'necessary' PEQ boxes, thus leaving the sides of the handguard for even more flash light/l4z0r combo and finaly get another flashlight/vertical grip combo on the bottom rail... While they are at it, they can also paint some red tigerstripe onto the rifle(but not the accesories, since those will be vastly mo

It is in a shop in Taiwan and I do not think they will just sell the kit(could be an upgrade service) right now because it is much more complicated than WE's solution.

Good LCT. Flashlight attachment without railed handguard always look better than making the AK look like emo-cutwrist tool just to add on flashlight.
