  1. Right now it's just a shell with some dodgy internals to see if it would work. I took the top of a lowcap and added a bit of tubing which allowed it to hold about 25 BB's. Things I need to do are: increase the width of the mag by about 1mm as there is a little bit of wobble when in the magwell. design the internals to hold around 60 BB's When it's finished all I should need is a spring and a BB follower.
  2. TM MP5K with prototype 3D printed Straight Magazine
  3. it's stiff with no wobble unlike a lot of folding stock AK's. The quality of these is so good you think you could knock down a wall with it without any damage to the AEG.
  4. VFC sell a rear sling plate for the 417 which is wider because of the fatter stock tube. A VFC 416 barrel extension might fit onto the 417 to give the longer look.
  5. Necro picture.... I decided to refinish my Garand stock. Turned out pretty good I think.
  6. because we have 2 hands........
  7. VFC 417 with Sniper kit VFC 417 VFC 416 TM MP7A1
  8. to program the burst feature do the following: remove the magazine. hold the bolt release open (i.e. not allowing the TW to fire) switch the fire selector to full auto pull and hold the trigger for 5 - 6 seconds and let go when you hear the beep. pull the trigger for how many bb's you want in the burst. i.e. if you want 3 round burst pull the trigger 3 times. pull the trigger one more time but hold it until it beeps (5 - 6 seconds) and that's it. you can program it to fire from 1 to 30 in a burst and because it's so easy you can do it in the middle of a game. oh and just for
  9. yeah but it's never ending. Things to do include replacing the scope on the DTW, getting to TW barrels chopped to the right size, adding tie wraps to some of the stock pads, spraying the GBB so that it's one shade of black, filing the insides of 2 of the silencers so that the flash hider goes further inside..............
  10. L119A1's Top is a AEG built around a dragon red engraved receiver. Gates MOSFET installed inside the stock. Bottom is a DTW (Mk1) with the new D&G electronics package (very good replacement electronics package from DTW and the full auto is programmable to 1 to 30 bursts). Systema PTW with prime lower. Top is a AGM GBB and has had nothing done to it internally as out the box it's been very good. Lower is a AEG built around another dragon red receiver. *the PTW and DTW need 10 inch barrels to finish them off.
  11. most probably one option would be some soft of AK rig as usually the pouches on these fit most magazines.
  12. cutout on both sides so easy to wind when attached.
  13. I don't know. Hopefully someone can post a picture of the silverback magazine for comparison.
  14. I just checked and the Bizon receiver is about 3/4 of an inch shorter than an AK receiver. Pretty impossible to swap. The stock would even require a lot of work to swap to a metal one after having a closer look.
  15. good to see there are spare mags. I might pick up a couple and at £11 quid a pop won't hurt the bank. For a 60 quid starter/wallhanger it's not too bad as it actually works out the box.
  16. Hi folks, Thought I'd stick together a mini review of the Golden Eagle BIZON-2 SMG (also known as the PP-19). History: Original BIZON developed in the early 90's for the MVD and was designed for law enforcement along with counter terrorism. Has a unique horizontal magazine which holds 64 rounds of 9 x 18mm. Can be chambered for other calibres. 60% compatibility with an AKS-74. Features: Stamped steel receiver and stock. Sights out to 100 meters 64 round helical magazine or 35 round box magazine (PPSH) Airsoft Version: I bought this from cop9
  17. it's foam lined so could be modded to a tracer.
  18. VFC SCAR H top and TM SCAR H bottom
  19. yup. it's surprisingly good. metal mount and everything else is plastic. legs can be pulled out and lock. pressing the button makes the legs shoot inside again.
  20. Started life as a DTW M4A1. Etiny electrics and lots of aftermarket externals.
  21. I would go for the A&K simply because of the compatability of the A&K to the Systema. The DTW feels like and AEG whereas the A&K feels like a Systema. I'm not knocking the DTW as I have 3 now but I would probably buy a A&K over the G&D if I was after another. Whatever version you buy expect to spend a little time and money getting it just right.
  22. completely missed that comment.... it's a solid thing to use and holds it's edge pretty well.
