Pigs just flew. I built a glock.......... 6 months in the making due to importation issues, missing packages, parts shortages etc. Its finally done. my dslr only shoots stills. I think the wifes camera can do video. i'll look into it. for a moment I wanted to build a prime ksc but then I realized.. what am I thinking. its not even steel! which would be the whole point to drop 1000$ on that build. or 1st version blued. that might be worth it too, even in alum. after I ran the costs down for what I was getting, I sobered out of it. for now.

Time to start off my cz presidential library. A few more I couldn't carry out at once for later. mostly the smgs vz61 and the evo which are smgs so we don't care about those. especially the aeg. those are evil. we shall never speak of aegs again. that sounds like a VFC not HK glock... never broken a WE/HK barrel. its the VFC ones that snap @ tabs (along with hammers)

My turn. CA AEG. bought brand new, its actually the only aeg I haven't thrown out (hate them). It has been ~10 years since I have opened this one up but I know like with all of them, the piston, spring, nozzle, tappet etc were replaced on day 1. This has the fuse removed (popular back in the day) and requires 8.6v to even cycle. so not sure what I put inside it. back then standard was 7.4 battery... I have some mid and hi caps for it. Not quite a prime kit but its the only thing I could find. Just a WE with a custom stamped slide. Which came all messed up and I had to recoat it. Trades are shallow and uneven but I think it adds to the age of the gun - they didn't have cnc milling in the 30s. real wood grips, I think hogues. Not sure. I neglected this gun for years and finally dusted it off.

Does the gen4 blowback chamber et all fit into gen3? Somebody said recoil guide doesn't, but what about the slide stuff? About to drop on a steel prem edition gen3 g17. Don't want to buy something that is worse than a gen4 while costing 2.2x more

i love how the rear mount came out. have you considering taking the front one off though and even cutting the little ridge in the body where it slides over? basically have the front end be a flat top?

irrelevant. the sights have no value other than aesthetics. i might change the front one eventually anyway. depending on how it works with the holosigh/red dot fake

I bought this as a joke and fell in absolute love with the size/weight/fit and the gearbox i actually love opening up (unlike the dreaded v2). i'll list it all along with the obvious stuff. amen. that's why nobody uses it for anything else other than a wallhanger. and the recoil is proportional to the weight. the .50 does have a significant kick over the 44 but not by a margin big enough to slam the gun in your face. unless you aren't holding it proper..
