  1. lol well, i did osrt of expect some cake from Big_Dave, as he has a reputation at the site for making great cake. but alas, there was none. so he was lucky he was on my team. haha i didnt even realise my english had sunk to a new low there, oh well. and yeah, it was good fun, even the 2 nights 'camping' were a massive 'hoot'
  2. well to be honest, i thought that looked a bit weird, but i dont know what a barrel plug looks like, so i left that one. i was expecting a barrel plug to be a bit more obvious.
  3. i very much doubt the SBS allow photos like that to be released of them (im sure i read it somewhere else on this forum today) on topic - well the photos Doc posted only back up Sid's view, in that painted real steel guns that actually get used look like *beep*. the 'fanciest' one is the armalite that dude is holding in the thrid pic - and that looks like somebody puked in his gun then lacquered over it. edit - also, in that third pic it looks to me like the bloke giving the signal doesn't have a mag in his gun
  4. aahhh, the famous illuminous yellow camo paintjob
  5. so getting drunk and spraying it is more realistic ??? im all for realism
  6. its been said before, so i will say it again - we need a zoom thingy. it looks like there is one MASSIVE bloke airsofting in London, rather than loads of people.
  7. only because the site was so open everybody hid behind the same cover anyways. i waved plenty of 'hand signals' at my team
  8. Mongrel Army for teh winzooror *contemplates starting new team*
  9. you were there ? i hope you're not incinuating i turn my nose up at geardos Doc ? if tramps went to war, they would look like me. but with tidier hair.
  10. if you come to Turddenham, you WILL be a skirmishing fan, trust me. my team has some big plans for that site now........... and FMJ, you're so right. notice my 'kit' - a 5 quid, cut up and torn NBC top, a 30 quid HK police vest and some second hand trousers. i bet i got as many kills as people who spent more on their gloves than i did on my whole loadout. ahh man, my pics are already on the last page EVERYBODY GO BACK TO THE LAST PAGE AND LOOK AT MY PICS *ego trip over*
  11. ok heres some of me at my brithday skirmish, to which Doc Newstead, BadAsstronaut, Itsari, Big Dave, The Bauer, and some others i cant put names to avatars turned up to. me with the 249 'of love' see how calm i am in game ? ok back to shooting people/wasting ammo out comes the old girl (the gun, not me ) in game shot, although not under much pressure (obviously SNAFU are all kit no game ) and again and again. mmm, why does my gun looks better in pics than it does in person yay reloading with my new MAG mid-caps lol my mate m
  12. to be honest, i had never played a 12 string until the day i brought this one (yes, that is pretty impulsive, especially as i cant afford this guitar ). i played a Faith 12 string earlier in the day, which was nice, but expensive and the wrong colour. then i played this one, loved it, found out is was half price, and my mate brought it for me. so i know mext to nothing about the implementation of a 12 string, but what i do know is that they sound SOOOOOO much better than a 6 string when chording...
  13. yes but what you just said above flies completely over my head. alhtough i have been playing for about 2 years, i am compeltely self taught. hence any technical knowledge of music and how it is constructed i know nothing about. i dotn knwo abotu scales, keys, song construction, 7th's, 8th's, minors all that ###### i dont know. i can play songs, and i can write stuff that sounds good. whether it is 'properly constructed' is another matter, and one which i am nto bothered about. to me, if it sounds good, its fine. anyways, here are some pics of my guitars, inclding my new Seagull
  14. i thought the same two things dude. but i am converted. the guitar i got (Seagull) was half price at my shop. it cost me 172 pounds, and i have seen it on the internet priced between 350-400 pounds. it was half price becasue it had a couple of marks no bigger than half a finger nail. and it needs new strings. the tuning is easy once you know it. the guitar is tuned as follows (low E group at top) e (octave up) E a (octave up) A d (octave up) D g (octave up) G b b e e as you can see, the top 8 strings are paired in standard/octave up tuning, and th
  15. i got a new 12 string acoustic a couple of days ago - it is amazing. 6 strings just sounds absolutely *beep* compared to 12, i cant see i will ever be playing my 6 string again. will post some pics soon.
  16. while im sure you guys really like your guns, my eyes are so offended they have receded into my spine. im sure the guns work and feel great though. wish i had the money to buy new guns................
  17. yes, but dont use an electric blue maglite.
  18. CA36 /folded stock is *fruitcage* wrong. CA36 with stock unfolded AM TEH GOD DAMN SECHSZOORORRR
  19. *imagines using the 'bang' rule on Carmen Electra*
  20. that painted ejection port looks really cool. does it look good from close-up ? *goes off to find silver Humbrol paint*
  21. well looks like it has all been said. as nice as your armalite is, its not the sort of effect i want. i realise the one i want will be a lot harder, but i really want to get the exact effect of what my mock-up shows. cheers
  22. my bro's GBB P99 with metal outer barrel and silencer kit.
  23. hhmhmmmm could be intersting the only things holding me back are that i have never pianted a gun before, and i am also undecided as to whether to paint my only rifle/SMG with a camo design, bearing in mind its an MP5SD5, purely from a functional point of view. here is a mock up psaldorn sorted me out with, and i love it. with a stock i would like to add eventually. got any pics of your work ?
