As you know, there's work being done on the server at the moment to fix recent problems we've been having. A major issue was found yesterday, and consequently an advanced technical team is being put to work on it. We can expect more down time at some point (not sure when exactly), but the site isn't going anywhere/being shut down permanently, so don't cry about your rep totals and post counts.
