  1. I definitely agree with you when you say that it's either Race-Gun or military/police type Glocks out there, very seldom do you ever see anything that's as personalized as some 1911's. I guess you could CNC the slide to trim off metal, much like Chris Costa's M&P's have been made. If you've got a steady hand you might even be able to do it with a dremel, but I would not really recommend that! It does make me want to trim down my Glock's slide and stipple the frame, to make it more "high-speed." Possibly adding a small red-dot sight on the slide, but all this is just a dream, it's not going
  2. Hwagan, Glocks are incredibly reliable when it comes to the real steel versions, it also helps that airsoft Glocks are reliable as hell! At least in my experience they are. Of course, you should be able to find a few horror stories about reliability when it comes to any firearm but with the tests that Glocks are put through and the quality control of the company, there should not be a risk of failure. As long as you'd treat it well, but that goes with any firearm. Though this pertains to real Glocks and not airsoft Glocks, I have heard a story from a friend who is a SWAT Officer. He accide
  3. I usually don't comment in response to pictures that members post, without asking or answering a question but for the above pictures I have to tell you, Botisho, that this is the best impressions that I have seen of Air Force PJs and one of the best impressions that I have ever seen! I'm also not someone that tries to build a realistic impression, rather, I like to draw inspiration from certain groups as to create something that would be realistically accurate but not strictly an impression. Very nicely done! It reminds me a lot of the National Geographic's "Inside Combat Rescue," you only nee
  4. The pictures that TAG has on their website confirms that the pouch has Velcro on it as a system of attachment.

    Custom Gear

I filled my hollow plates with sand, then I taped up the entire plate so that even if the shell cracked it would not leak. The weight of the filled plates equaled the weight of real ESAPI plates. I replaced them with two layers of foam and one layer of cardboard that were cut like a plate, and taped together. I didn't like how the sand in the hollow plates kept moving around and created a bulge towards the middle lower part of my ribcage. That leads me to think that expanding and solidifying foam would be better to use except it won't get a realistic weight. Though, you could always buy s
  6. What is the base color for those pants? Did you simply paint them to get that dark effect?
  7. Price: -Ranging from $80 to $110 without shipping. Since you can buy this set or another brands(TMC, Emerson, etc.) from many websites within a similar price range, it is up to you to find the shop with a good reputation and a reasonable price. I bought my set from AirsoftDepo.ca simply because I found other items available on that website that I also wanted to buy. With a price tag being around $100 for both the shirt and pants, as well as pads for the knees and elbows, I would say that it is a very good price considering the overall features. Keep in mind, I bought my set a few years
  8. I bought a 2" barrel extension by MadBull and it fits the standard -14mm threading. Unfortunately, an inner barrel did not initially fit through the extension but it was an easy fix with some filing of the inside. I do not know whether or not the 1" extension will be the same. The material seems quite strong and sturdy even though it weighs next to nothing. It did make a screeching noise when I screwed it onto my outer barrel, but I cannot identify any damage nor does it wobble at all when properly screwed on. Your M4 looks great as it is, methinks.
  9. The Banshee looks like it's kangaroo pouch is too small to fit an insert to hold three magazines. I do think that a Diamond Back Tactical kangaroo insert would fit, but I cannot guarantee it. Maybe even Ferro's Kydex magazine insert will fit, I should think so but again, I cannot guarantee it. Perhaps you should just invest in a few Esstac KYWI's, that should work just fine.
  10. And for those of us not in the know, which fictional character has this weapon?
  11. Nice kit, I hope you like your new things! Sweet dump pouch, by the way!
  12. Absolutely, it's a pain in the *albatross*! That lead me to get rid of my MAP, I also didn't need the space it provided me with. By shortening the MAP, you've perfected it. It's strange that nearly all companies made their version of the MAP but no one made a smaller version, at least none became popular.
  13. Stridsväst 2000(Sv2k) are/were restricted by the Swedish Army, so there are not that many around on the market. Most Swedish gear appears to have the same kinds of restrictions, though uniforms are much easier to find. It's unfortunate how the prices go up because of this, but completely understandable.
  14. I'd love to see it, I've always wanted a complete Swedish kit. For years, I've been toying with the idea of getting a set of M/90L or M/90TR BE(or M/90k as I've mostly heard/read it as). I love the camouflage and the uniform cut, and after speaking with the Lady that designed the uniform and camouflage pattern(she's a family friend), I am immensely impressed with the designs and detail that went into the process of designing the uniform(s). It just costs too much overall to warrant it, especially since I feel that I would try to preserve the uniform as a collection item rather than use it
  15. I already do have some M/90f and all other parts of the Swedish uniform of the time. I even have a set of M/59 uniform, and a M/59 somewhere, but those are still in Sweden. Unfortunately, it's a bit too hot in California to wear such dense fabric, and since I am somehow unable to adjust to the heat here compared to the lack of heat in Sweden(even after living in California for years), I haven't used my M/90 in a few years. Though, I have been looking at getting some M/90k. Either way, this kit would not be accurate for an impression, even of SOG. It's usually alright to wear something lik
  16. GRIM! I haven't seen you posting in a long, long time! Beautiful Grease Gun you've got there! Are you going to do some artificial weathering or get the look from use over time? If I remember correctly, you had a number of AKs with outstanding weathering, the best I've ever seen!
  17. Mixing colors and patterns is cool anyway! Just not if you wear 13 different camouflage patterns! And it's true what Pkekyo said, blue sticks out a lot amongst earth tones. That's why I don't tend to wear the Swedish flag on my plate carrier as I have it in my photo a few posts above. If I wear it, then I wear it on my shoulder where it seems to be much more out of the way for opposing players to see. Does anyone have any critique on my 6094 above? I kind of want to make the front more interesting and make the faux PRC-152 look more realistic. My TalkAbout does not fit inside so the P
  18. Thanks for all the Likes, I really appreciate you all enjoying the sight of my gun. I find it somewhat dull right now, I've been thinking about a suppressor but cannot decide between the classic Knights style, and the SureFire 556 suppressor(probably the 20cm version). I'm also looking for a flashlight and I am really liking the SureFire Scout on some sort of low profile mount, but these two additions are not a priority. Does anyone have any recommendations that might look good and are of high quality(I'm thinking high quality for a Chinese replica)? Besides that, I just need to get so
  19. Here's my LBT-6094a and MICH2001 with an assortment of gear. Sometimes I may have my Glock in a SafariLand 6004 and some magazines to that, and usually I have a dump pouch, but all of that goes on my belt. If anyone wants a kit list then I'll add that, you just need to ask.
  20. Here's my M4 as it currently stands. It started life as a VFC SR-16E3 but I changed the URXII rail for a Troy TRX(13in) and therefore added a 2in barrel extension. Beyond that, the external parts are self explanatory but if someone wants a list, I'll write one up.
  21. And that sure is a pretty ACOG Very nice M4, Hunk! I've always liked that style, and it shouldn't be surprising that mine is fairly similar actually. I'll post pictures sometime in the future, as I have to take them first.
  22. Quite true, which surprised me as well. That plate carrier looks mighty fine, seems very comfortable by the looks of the design.
  23. That is not a Crye product completely, the material may come from Crye but the carrier looks like a TYR Tactical GPC to me.
  24. I really like that! I'm glad it will get some good use rather than hanging in my closet.
