  1. Snake Goth, Is the HAWG molle compatible or is it purely shoulder straps?
  2. I think you'll find that the gun that is two-tone(top right) is in fact the real steel - the mag is the giveaway. The two-tone effect is probably due to the slide being steel and the frame being aluminium and how the finish takes to the metal. I have to say the PGC looks the best of the lot.
  3. Yeah the Mk23 slide was originally black but your compact will be fine as the quality of the anodising is far superior to that applied to the Zeke metal. It also got a lot to do, I imagine, with the material it is applied to i.e. SD metal is aluminium while the Zeke metal is monkey/white metal.
  4. Cheers for the compliment. That's no effect but about a year and half of combat and holstering plus some home armchair love. The MP5 is done in Krylon Havn't used any of these guns for a skirmish for like two years plus except the USPc which I used last about 1 1/2 years ago. It all M4's and Sig's for me these days. However, I do have my USP stashed under my computer table for whenever Jack needs some help.
  5. Here's my HK collection: CA MP5SD3, Guarder mount & Walther red dot, TN barrel + fully upgraded. KSC Mk23 with Zeke metal set, TN barrel + internal return spring & valve mods. KSC USPc with Shooters Design metal set, TN barrel and valve mods.
  6. Do you seriously use the trigger guard as a sling point? Also, of all the places to take a photo you choose a toilet. Interesting.
  7. It is illegal to modify a deactivated weapon in the UK. If you need clarification contact the Birmingham Proof House as your local cop shop is unlikely to know as it is too specialised. http://www.gunproof.com/
  8. Mike, You'll probably find that your meant to just self tap the holes as you screw in the bolts/screws. Because it is soft aluminium the hole will take on the cut of the thread. Remember that if you have a 3mm bolt/screw it will cut a 3mm threaded hole into a 2mm plain hole. Also when you screw it in keep constant firm pressure on the screwdriver, to prevent partial stripping of the hole as you start, and ensure the bolt/screw is vertical at all times.
  9. Suppressors did exist for the K98k during WW2 but they didn't look like Socom suppressors. If your gonna go to the trouble of mounting a turret mounted scope use the genuine article or a replica(a specialist item be it real or fake) - pricey, depending, but I'm a purist.
  10. Guys, The only tension adjustment is the exposed Allen bolt on the outside of the holster, any other bolt is for affixing parts to one another. This bolt, which also supports the trigger bump stop, when tightened puts pressure on the whole of the holster wall gripping the pistol bodily. SilentScope, Here are some extracts from the manual in case you lost yours or something. If your pistol is oversized and causing excessive friction, even when the bolt is fully slackened off, then try putting the holster in a vice, front to back, and putting a bit of pressure on it. This wi
  11. p.s. You can only blue steel. Probably just a paint/light effect.
  12. Surely that magwell extension is back to front.
  13. Edit: Just dusted USPc off, and because Jack Bauer told me to, and the stock spring does work when firing the gun straight up.
  14. I have an SD (Shooters Design) slide and outer barrel and I have had no problems at all. The front top edge of the chamber does encounter some stiction with the inside top surface of the slide(more to the front due to the components coming closer together in recoil. However, a thin finger smear of thickish motor oil on that inside slide surface and some extra racking soon smooths things out. It might also help to ever so slightly chamfer that square front edge of the chamber. Also, the stock spring is sufficient to power the full metal, except if your shooting anything straight up. To
  15. Absolutely. Two segments will be used for the mic and two for the earpiece. It'll just take a little time to identify what wire does what and therefore which one to solder to which plug pole. Your all-in-one plug is exactly the same as my dual mono plug set-up.
  16. If its one single 3.5mm plug, and I'll expand a little, it'll either have 3 metal segments and two black bands or 4 metal segments and 3 black bands. In either case its a simple task of aquiring the right plug and just doing some simple circuit testing to get mic and head phone wires identified and wired right.
  17. I presume the radio uses a single, stereo, 3 segment 3.5mm mini plug? Therefore you can modify my instructions here and use either a Clansman or Pryme etc PTT. Simple electrical testing and you'll have it sorted. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...10541&hl=bowman
  18. It uses its own separate strap system. Put it on first then the helmet.
  19. The trigger draw bar looks horribly exposed.
  20. Tunershark, How do you use that scope with the foresight in the way?
  21. I don't blame him for mounting it in reverse. Stops the nuts snagging on webbing plus it is easier to take off with the strong hand.
  22. Fantastic. Even the wood is serial numbered. Is the flash hider real steel or just another VFC wow factor?
  23. Who makes that Aimpoint because it has trades on it and I've never seen that. Got a link?
