To be fair, apart from the hop rubber and NPAS my G39c was bone stock up until the trigger needed replacing (at 10-12k rounds) almost 9 months later. Never had an issue worth noting. These issues have popped up after installation of RA-Tech parts, even then they are not show stopping issues just annoying ones.

One possible thing that may fix it is a steel bolt. The gauges the hammer has made in the bolt may be causing the stuttering if it gets stuck. Bit strange that RA-Tech haven't bothered with a steel g39 bolt as they have done for every other WE GBBR.

Im not sure I can recommend RA-Tech parts. I replaced my worn trigger group with a full RA-Tech kit and have been experiencing odd issues since. For instance on my last skirmish occasionally in semi I would get a low powered shot, which was quite obvious from the sound. This may have been helped by rain however, as since I have been unable to replicate this. Also, auto now stutters occasionally. Finally and probably the most worrying is that the hammer is eating into the bolt quite rapidly. There is now a good chunk missing from the bottom and Im finding very small shards of metal

Out of interest to those whom did the Teflon tape mod on their hop units, has your held? I just opened my G39 up to find all the tape had vanished and seemingly been vaporised and coated various bits around the hop unit. (Barrel, inner barrel, the unit itself and the holder) Seems teflon tape + propane is a bad idea.

Thanks for the guide, installed today without much issue. For any future users of ra-tech's kit, the trigger set does need some break in. Initially semi-auto wouldn't work properly, I would have to push the trigger forward a /TINY/ amount for it to click back. Dry fired off about 6 mags worth later and its working perfectly. Only other thing worth noting is my fire selector seems to be stiffer than before, not a bad thing IMHO. As for what was broken, only the firing pin (?, the part that the hammer actually hits to push the valve knocker forward) had fallen out of the knocker.

Open bolt all the way. The hop is fantastic in them.

Supposedly out the same time as the idz kit but never surfaced. Don't think they are going to bother now.

Finally got my RA-Tech CNC steel trigger bits, looks nice. Now, anyone know of a disassembly/reassembly guide for the trigger box?

Hmmm might have to try that on my G39 as I get the same no hop at full auto problem.

Anyone know where to get spare G39 magazine shells from? I know airsoftbuddy has them but their shipping prices are extortionate. Rather not pay £58 for 4 plastic shells!

Annoyingly, my C has alWAYS has a slight barrel wobble even with the nut fully tight.

Never weighed it. Tis a C and often used with coupled mags, so whatever that weighs.

I used to use an old ACM one point sling, never had a problem.

Righto. I think Ill defiantly end up with one of these, are there any upgrades which are considered essential? (Apart from a NPAS and hop-rubber change)

Anyone ever used these in the cold? (0c and under?) Considering changing my G39 and buying a fresh M14.

Super glue fix worked for half a day or about 300 rounds until it came out again. Not bad, will use gorilla glue next time.
